BREAUX BRIDGE, La. — A kayaker found a man's body in Lake Martin, one of Acadiana's most popular attractions.

The lake near Breaux Bridge is a popular tourist spot for its scenery and large alligators.

LAKE MARTIN — Authorities have identified the body discovered in Lake Martin early Friday morning as that of a 29-year-old Lafayette man who had been stabbed multiple times, according to a news release.
