His sister is saying the no east thING was caught on a license plate reader. I am glad for that! Next, she should try to see if project nola has any footage from that area. They can basically follow the car from camera to camera, since they kbow exactly where it was at a certain time. It will take some big police work, but it is possible. I'm more concerned, with each day. Nola is the friendliest city in the world, with some of the most unfriendly street out there.

And I take it back.... I am seeing both 1 L and 2 Ls, so I don't know about the spelling of the first name. But usually a male is 2Ls

EDIT- It is 1L. He was tagged in a post.
Here are his 2 Facebook pages that I found:

https://www.facebook.com/carrol.fischer

https://www.facebook.com/chip.fischer.3

I see one L on the items his sister is posting on FB (she doesn’t seem to be correcting the spelling). Further, there is a Dr. Carrol Fischer in N.O. Wonder if they’re related.

ETA: never mind. I see you corrected.

I believe the Dr. Is his dad.

Edit--- and oddly, some of his court things have 2 Ls which is why I thought it was 2 in the beginning

From the WM near Kenner the car ends up at Haynes and Bullard? Oh. Bad news. Very bad news.

Right. I agree. Any way you slice it, it's bad news. Cause you don't drive yourself there to have a picnic at the park. And many cars are brought there without the owners driving.

Does he have any relation to the DDS Carrol Isadore Fischer, Jr. that has a dentist office on Haynes? Maybe he was headed that way for a reason? Might explain why his car was last seen at Haynes and Bullard.

I think his dad is the doctor, but I did not know his practice was on haynes. That is good thinking!

I don't think he's a John doe. But shade was and had a metal rod in his ankle, so was easy to identify. And they were still told he wasn't there. His thread isn't long. The read is quite shocking.

Anyway, I think that his license plate and car are key. They can check and see it was picked up by any plate readers. I would like to know if the police have given the family solid information. Was he lsst seen by bayou st john or walmart in kenner, according to police? And is the family clear who they are supossed to be working with. I am definitely not clear who I would call, if I had information. So, why aren't the police asking for information? It's all a little strange. Unless they know more. Unless they are looking for him for reasons other than being reported missing.
I cant find a thread for him anywhere on here. Can you possibly link it? Id like to read it. TIA!

Hi! Oddly enough, I cant find the thread! Which is very unfortunate! But here are a couple of articles that tell about the story and timeline (These are articles about Shade Sanguis, not Chip Fischer):

Sad that there’s so little news out there. His sister posts updates and fliers on her FB page, but there’s no Find Chip Fischer page, no further interviews. We know so little about how it came to be that he was reported missing and by whom. I’m not suggesting sleuthing non POI, but a person reported him missing. It’s vague. I’d like to know more. Was he and the person who reported him missing in a relationship, friends, in frequent contact? Was it typical for him to check in at each stop? Small details, maybe meaningless.

I agree! We don't even have an actual statement from the police. Is he listed as officially missing with them? A facebook page would be very helpful, because that is how people start seeing and sharing. It is one of the main factors between cases that get traction and those which dont.

It’s been a week since his sister last posted on FB. Note: I’m NOT suggesting she be sleuthed - that’s against TOS. It just makes me wonder whether the family received any news about Chip’s whereabouts or his activity and are remaining mum for any number of valid reasons. My speculation only.

Well, this article very well proves my point I made in the beginning. You cannot assume that the police have checked to see if there has been an arrest somewhere else. This guy was reported missing June 1. Arrested June 4 in Jefferson parish. Nopd did not know. He's been in jail the whole time. It is not uncommon. These are the exact 2 neighboring parishes that were involes with Chips case. I wish it was silly to think these things haooen, but it's not. So, I will say it again. Really hope the family has called all the jails in southern Louisiana and even mississippi, since he was heading that direction. And as far as I can see, he has warrants out, so it's not impossible he is in jail somewhere.

Hospitals too. This case is somewhat local to me too. Hubby lived in NO East for 23 years, I lived in Jeff Parish for 25 years. We’re still somewhat nearby. Communication across jurisdictional lines has long been tenuous at best, as you pointed out.

I wonder if that guy from the article had no ID and used an alias and why he didn't call family to tell them he was in jail? Everyone gets a phone call and every arrestee knows they get one.

Nathaniel Paul was reportedly found Saturday in Jefferson Parish jail. According to police, Paul was arrested on June 4 and has been in jail ever since. A JPSO corrections officer noticed a report of Paul reported as missing and notified authorities that he was incarcerated.

------- The corrections officer noticed his name on a missing report. I'm not thinking it was an alias. This is not unusual.
