I wonder how long it will take for the DNA to be matched?
If the tattoos match, I'm pretty sure it's her.

Praying for this family and I really hope what ever happened to Patty, she did not suffer.
I'm so glad an arrest has been made and it appears she has been found.

Grand jury indicts Natchitoches man in slaying of woman whose body was found in bayou

A Natchitoches Parish grand jury has returned a murder indictment in connection with the disappearance and death of a Natchitoches woman.

Morgan Prothro, 37, of 220 Paul Jordan Road, Natchitoches, had been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the Dec. 13 disappearance of Clara “Patty” Bynog, according to Natchitoches Parish District Attorney Van Kyzar.

The woman last was seen leaving a home with Prothro, and her family reported her missing a few days later.

Prothro was arrested in March. Bynog’s body was found March 20 by a fisherman in the Johnson Chute Bayou.

Interesting site I found today while looking for updates. It gives a lot of info on the night Patty went missing and what all happened in the search, and the confession.

http://pattybynog.com/patty-story.php

Morgan Prothro came into the sheriff's office & confessed to killing Patty on the night of December 13 2009. He was the aquaintance she left with to go to the store the night she was last seen.
From his confession he says that they got into an altercation & she tried to get out of his vehichle but the passenger door would not open & she panicked & started to kick the door. He says she then tried to climb over him & get out before he could open the door. He says opened the door & they both got out & he hit her, she then fell to the ground & when he checked for a pulse she had none. He said then he placed her into the back of his pickup truck & drove across the Grand Ecore bridge & placed her into the water underneath the bridge with her purse.

He has been charged with second degree murder & goes for arrainment on May 7 2010.
