Bumping.

A Texas woman who was in Dubberly last month visiting friends has vanished and Webster Parish sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help with any information that could lead to information on her whereabouts.

Sheriff Jason Parker said Darnisha N. Thompson, 30, of Mesquite, Texas, was last seen on March 14 in the area of Sand Plant Road in Dubberly.

Investigators do not have any information so far that Thompson was involved in any type of incident before she was reported missing.

“We don’t have a suspect or anything like that,” Parker said.

The spelling of the name in article appears to be slightly off.

From the missing woman's Facebook page listed above, she has a birthday cake posted with the spelling of Darnisa, (without the 'H').
She appears to have been born in August 1991, making her 32 right now.

She also appears to have children according to her Facebook page, relatives' comments about them, and court records from a paternity case, but I don't see any custody cases to find out who has those children now.

She's not in Namus that I can find, she's not in the LA state list: Missing Persons, Unidentified Persons - LA Repository for Unidentified & Missing People

Edit to remove comment about her age in the article - She was 30 when she went missing in March 2022.

Darnisa is now presumed dead, and a man, Allton "O.C." Cravens, has been charged with second-degree kidnapping and obstruction of justice.

There's not much detail on the news about this. The arrest for this apparently happened in August, per this Webster Parish District Court Docket, (listed as "CRAVENS, ALLTON B.") https://www.26thda.org/assets/uploads/2024/08/AUGUST-12-2024-JUDGE-NERREN-COURTROOM-B.pdf

It looks like he may have been arrested several times for the same thing, however:

"Nov. 10 - Alton Bruce Cravens, 44, of the 400 block of Sand Plant Rd., Minden, was arrested by WPSO on a warrant from Dallas, Texas for second degree kidnapping and felony theft."

"Feb.27 - Alton B. Cravens, 40, of the 400 block of Sand Plant Rd., Dubberly, was arrested by WPSO for obstruction of justice."

The name spelling in the news article is incorrect, but it's the same man - I found search results showing him on a docket in 2023 with the correct spelling of his name, but the PDF has since been deleted from the court's webpage.

Cravens, allton b. 98115. Obstruction Of Justice."
