• Clothing & Personal Items: Sliver/metal rimmed eyeglasses. White shirt with a parachute/skydiving emblem. Blue denim jeans. Work lace-up boots with steel toes with resin stains of fiber glass on them. Black & white with red Nascar baseball cap.
• Jewelry & Additional Items: Pocket knife. Key ring. Gold chain with a crucifix. Wristwatch with a silver band. An earring in the left ear.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Briley was last seen by his girlfriend at their residence in Lake Charles, Louisiana on August 16, 2007***. He left his trailer off of Highway 397 and walked to a local convenience store and made a purchase. He has never been heard from again.

Briley may have been involved with drugs around the time of his disappearance and had just lost his job. His family believes he is deceased. Few details are available in his case and his whereabouts remain unknown.

August 20th marked three years since the disappearance of a Lake Charles man. After exhausting all leads, KPLC's Lee Peck reports how authorities are reaching out to a different audience for clues to what happened to David Briley.

<<Bill believes the answers lie with the people David was living with. "We can only go by information we receive from witnesses or close friends. Everything we have done has turned up nothing," said Sheriff Mancuso.

David's picture and the details surrounding his disappearances are now featured in the Louisiana Crime Stoppers Cold Case card deck. The cards are circulating in every prison throughout Louisiana in hopes someone will see it and start talking.
