NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The children of a woman who was found dead in Bayou St. John can't understand why anyone would hurt their mom.The body of 39-year-old Donielle Conerly was found Monday afternoonnear the 4000 block of Davey Street. On Thursday, Conerly's loved ones planned to gather there for candlelight vigil.
"It is just so strange, so strange,” said Conerly’s daughter, Glynielle. “It's surreal."
Police said they found Donielle with a stocking tied tightly around her neck. They are investigating her death as a homicide.
Glynielle said her mother went missing early that morning sometime after 2 a.m.

Glynielle said the death doesn&#8217;t make sense.
"I don't understand why they would hate her that much. I mean, what did she do you? Like, what did she do? Tell you no? What did she do?"

yes I agree. There's so many question s left unanswered.. Where was the husband during this? He didn't see/hear/notice his wife get up and leave in the middle of the night? And the comment the daughter made about her purse being in the backseat is so true! No woman puts their purse in the back unless someone is sitting in the front..

The cause of the death of the 39-year-old woman found dead in Bayou St. John Jan. 23 is still under investigation, according to the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office.New Orleans police are investigating the death as a homicide after discovering Donielle Conerly near the 4000 block of Davey Street with "what appeared to be a stocking tied tightly," NOPD said in a preliminary report.

I could leave in the middle of night and hubby wouldn't wake up. He goes to sleep within seconds and is down for the night.

I agree though on the purse being in the back...if the front seats both have people.
