KPD was contacted about a 16-year-old runaway female juvenile, Drucilla Patterson, who left her job at 3636 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on March 5th around 8:00PM.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Drucilla Patterson, they are urged to contact the Kenner Police Department at 504-712-2222.

I wish that "runaway" wasn't displayed so prominently. I wonder if she left her job at 8pm because that was the end of her workday, or if she left during her work hours. 3636 Williams, Kenner, is the address of a Wendy's and they are open until midnight.

IMHO A runaway is NOT a runaway UNTIL YOU KNOW FOR A FACT they ran away! I understand needing to wait before missing person reports are taken. LE has spent many hours searching for people who do not want to be found or show up. However, when you have a young person who went to work and then arbitrarily decides at 8 pm to run away seems off. A young responsible teen with a job generally is solid. I hope they will continue to search.
