Circumstances of Disappearance​

Edna Hoffman Freeman was last seen on April 20, 1998 at her home located on Florida Street in Tallulah, LA.

A suspect was questioned in this case but was released for lack of evidence.

Wow, that rather undescriptive Namus page hides a crazy back story.

The suspect was Jesse Brewer, Edna’s daughter’s father-in-law.

The first 2 uploads are the story in 1998, the second two discuss Brewer and the grand jury charges in 1999. Brewer’s attorney mentions filing suit against some named individuals in the second article who may be interesting to sleuth a bit. I haven’t yet come across the disposition of the grand jury on his charges, but will dig around.
