Emrick Rogers – The Charley Project

Rogers was last seen in Opelousas, Louisiana on September 4, 1997. He went to see his girlfriend, who lived on Ina Claire Drive, but they had an argument and he left. He has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case. Eunice, Louisiana police are investigating.

Some things aren't lining up in Rico's case, imo. I'm having trouble mapping the locations given in his NamUs profile and the article posted by @HopeRains. I'm also confused by the fact that Eunice Police Department is shown as the case owner instead of the Opelousas Police Department.

According to the NamUs profile, Rico is missing from Opelousas. The circumstances section shows that he argued with his "girlfriend who lived on Ina Claire Drive, Opelousas, and then left." The MSM article states "He was last seen on MacArthur Street... [snip] ...riding a Schwinn bicycle".

1. Google Maps doesn't show a MacArthur Street in Opelousas.
2. There is a MacArthur Street in Eunice, LA which is about 20 miles west of Opelousas.

So was Rico last seen in Opelousas or Eunice? Did he argue with his girlfriend at her Opelousas home then leave on his bicycle and ride to MacArthur St. in Eunice where he was last seen? If so, why does the profile show him as missing from Opelousas? Did he ride his bicycle from Eunice to the gf's house in Opelousas then go missing from there? If so, why is Eunice PD the case owner?

Then there's the problem @HopeRains pointed out regarding the last seen dates. Was Rico last seen in Sept or Oct?
