Lafayette police have now identified the victim as 23-year-old Eric "Blake" Renfrow of Carthage, Mississippi. Renfrow had been working for an oil field company out of Houma.
Detectives are now searching for Renfrow's vehicle; A white 2007 Mazda 3 four-door, with Mississippi license plate number LJB068
