Based on where she was found, her surrounds, the position of her body, and other details I can't share, I'm very comfortable stating she did not wander out and fall to her death. Domestic violence is the only time women are blatantly murdered and people offer ridiculous options for the cause of death instead. In 2017, the CDC reported that 55 percent of female homicide victims were killed by an intimate partner. In 2018, the UN reported that 50,000 women worldwide were killed by intimate partners or family members. There is a straight line from point A to point B here. Jessica told me plainly "If I leave him he will hunt me down and kill me. He's got connections. He will make me disappear." She told me she was ready to leave. Two days later, she was dead.
The only real mystery in this case is the intense avoidance of duty by law enforcement in new orleans.

In my view, it is highly unlikely she took a bunch of drugs, walked a block down the road, and laid down and died. She was not a homeless alcoholic or drug addict. How common is it for someone to be found in such circumstances, just a short distance from home? Not very, I would say. And if the balance of her mind *was* disturbed at the time, why was her husband, the very person who lived with her and knew her best, not looking out for her, instead of allegedly laying asleep and letting her walk out? And that would not have occurred overnight. Are there any calls by him to a doctor or mental health facility expressing concern prior to? No.

She 'wandered out' a block away from home, then 'fell' in a deserted area by a road bridge that was off the main path, and then lay there a week?

There is more than one discrepancy to your 'probables'. I will leave you to examine the case more closely.

Jessica did not wander out and fall and sustain a fractured nose, broken jaw, broken rib and a C4 vertebrae(neck) My sister did not die there, she was dumped there. As far as a lot of drugs in her system, the autopsy report states ...nothing in her system would have caused her to die.

It sounds to me like she was beaten. She had a broken nose, a fractured jaw, a broken rib, and a broken vertebrae in her neck. Someone else caused those injuries. According to the autopsy report, there were no substances in her system that would have led to her death. It's highly unlikely that she became intoxicated, walked two blocks to a wooded area and collapsed at the edge of the treeline where she was found.

There were obvious warning signs that she was in danger just before she disappeared. She wanted to get away from her husband and feared for her safety. She called her friend three or four times asking to be picked up, but then said she wanted to wait and see what would happen when she got home. She had previously stated that if she left her husband he would kill her.

It sounds like there was a history of turbulence and domestic violence in her marriage. We've all heard that the most dangerous time for a woman in an abusive relationship is when she is attempting to leave. I think this is exactly what Jessica was planning to do, only she never got the chance.

I really hope one day there will be justice for Jessica and her family. If the manner of death was changed to "homicide," then investigators would have to investigate her death as a murder. Was there ever a second autopsy done? There must be a way to request that another ME analyze the results or to get a second opinion. I'm not sure how anyone can come to the conclusion that those injuries resulted from an accident.

Her injuries just seem too severe to be caused by only falling unless she fell from something. I'm not really familiar with the area she was found though.

She could have been punched in the face, throat and ribs, hit with an object, or pushed down a set of stairs.

A healthy adult her age normally does not suffer four broken bones simply from falling. It's just not believable that she fell and broke her nose, fractured her jaw, broke a rib and a bone in her vertebrae. Those injuries had to be caused by someone else. I don't think it's always obvious when someone is beaten to death, but I do think it is connected to how she wound up dead.

The injuries were described by one of the verified insiders, so no, I don't have a link, but I am assuming the family has seen the autopsy report and would know that Jessica had a broken rib and that her c4 vertebrae in her neck was broken.

I was referring to the "manner of death" when I said it should be changed to "homicide," not the COD.
