Found Deceased LA - Jessica Easterly Durning, 43, New Orleans, 14 Aug 2019

Ok so the update claim, is her body will be released to next of kin.
She may well have been released.
Do any here think that the husband will do the right thing and release her to her family? He claims to have no funds. Which I would assume he would think of what was best to put her to rest with releasing her to next of kin other than himself.

Jessica deserves honor
She needs to be laid to rest in a proper loving manner.

I do hope further investigation is pursued. However it is time for Jessica to have a proper burial.

The brainscratch by John gives us so much to think about.
It's a must watch
At least renewing her case info
@I'mTheFriend
Did you watch Brainstratch?
What is your opinion?
Thank you for being here
What was Jessica's favorite color?

He has only contacted my parents once! And that was about a month after she went missing! So to answer your question if he has reached out about funeral arrangements...NO!! And we don't expect to hear from him! To him this a game to see how much he can hurt my family..to have the upper hand, to have the final say!

How horrible for you and your family, I'm so sorry you are going through this. :(

I am so upset with how this whole thing has gone. I want to give you know who the benefit of the doubt. But the only other explanation I can think of is a drug overdose. And I don't even know if she was known to use drugs nor whether the toxicology report addressed it. If drugs are not involved, I see only one possibility for what happened to her.

I *think* he has said she had tried similar in past. I stand to be corrected on that, and of course doesn't mean true his saying it either. If you look through the thread above, it is alleged she suffered with mental health issues.

Now if it should be she took her own life, the question is what pushed her to it? Why did she sound so afraid and exhausted on the Monday evening? And if she was going through a bad spell, why did the husband not seek help for her? According to him, things were all fine; they both laid down for a nap around 1pm on the Wednesday, and 2 hours later she was gone.

Something doesn't fit. Someone isn't telling the real/full story.

My sister did not die of a drug overdose!

@Justice4Jessica
Do you know or have a strong opinion only if Jessica had a Life Insurance Policy?

What did you think of the Brainstratch video?
I also want Justifiable Justice for Jessica.
You are a brave soldier for Jessica.

RIH Jessica
Even if she did have a life insurance policy...it won't pay out because it is undetermined! I think John did great on the video!

Jessica did NOT take her own life!!
She was tired of that 🤬🤬🤬 and realized she deserved better! That's why she was leaving...she was going to start over! I wouldn't put anything past him to say something like that. Actually I expect him to say anything that makes

Your right someone isn't telling the truth! I wonder who it is!? Btw...my sister had fibromyalgia!!

From the New Orleans local newspaper today:

Coroner’s spokesman Jason Melancon said the office performed both an autopsy and toxicology tests on Jessica Easterly Durning, 43. According to a report, the pathologist who performed the autopsy found evidence that Durning suffered a nose injury as well as “a small linear fracture” in her jaw around the time she died.

Pretty interesting considering her friends and family have said on record that he was abusive to her. I am shocked, and furthermore appalled, this isn't getting much traction statewide or nationwide. I'm no detective but if my wife was missing, then found and then it was written she had a broken nose and jaw, I would make an effing statement if I were innocent.

This reminds me of the Kat West case. It's not a very big secret that cops have contempt for sex workers but they probably better learn their lesson soon when it comes to adult performers who may have the notice of some surprisingly powerful people.

The entire article is HERE.

"Attempts to contact Durning’s family, including her husband and parents, weren’t immediately successful Tuesday."

Not surprising when you take on board the husband never even reported her as missing or looked for her, and continued to post on Twitter like nothing was amiss all through.

Cause of death undetermined for Lakeview woman whose body was found in August

"Durning's stepfather, Rick Schmitt, said Tuesday that his family spoke with New Orleans homicide detectives after her death had been classified as undetermined. Schmitt said the investigators assured his family that the investigation remained active.

“They (said they) are still dealing with some leads and are making some progress,” he said. "

I hope the above is true.
