Information sought on missing Lake Charles man
CPSO LOOKING FOR MISSING LAKE CHARLES MAN
Lake Charles –
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 47 year old Lake Charles man that has been reported missing since the end of May. Joel J. Whitten was last seen at his residence on Canvasback Street in Lake Charles. He is described as a white male, 5’11”, 230 pounds, with shoulder length straight brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a Mardi Gras design, blue jeans, a black welder’s hat, and a black ring and cloth bracelet.
Whitten is known to frequent gas stations and wooded homeless camps. He also suffers from medical issues which require daily medication.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating Whitten. If anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact CPSO Detective Brandon Peresich at 491-3637.
