Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing Rodessa Man

Caddo Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office for 73-year-old Johnny Hamilton.

He was last seen on Monday, January 5, 2026, at approximately 12:45 p.m. at his residence on Rodessa Church Road in Rodessa, LA. LSP received the request to issue the alert at approximately 11:24 p.m. on January 5, 2026.

Hamilton is a black male with white hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’11” tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Hamilton suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.

Hamilton’s clothing description is unknown. He is believed to be traveling in a 2001 red Chevrolet Silverado bearing LA license plate Z136218, in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hamilton is asked to contact the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office immediately at 318-584-9034 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office confirms the truck belonging to Johnny Dean Hamilton, 73, of Rodessa, was discovered in Nix Creek on Wednesday.

Hamilton is still considered missing.
