New Orleans police are seeking the public's assistance in locating two people reported missing.

Brittney Jackson, 32, and her 5-year-old son, Josiah Jackson, were last seen on Feb. 8 by their family.

The reported person checked Jackson’s last known address and learned that she no longer resided there.

They have not been seen or heard from since.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Brittney Jackson and Joshiah Jackson, is asked to please contact any Seventh District detective at 504-658-6070.

I'm praying that they are OK. JMO MOO just thinking about the circumstances (moved without telling anyone, no contact with anyone since) I hope they weren't forced to go with someone.

Brittany's sister "LMJ" is terribly worried about both of them. The little is such a cutie! Please let them be safe.

Do we know who the 'reported person' might be?

The MSM report indicates Brittney was last seen on 8 February, but I'm not clear on when the reported person went to their former residence to check on them.

Also, how did this person learn that Brittney and her son no longer lived at that location? Did they meet someone there who gave them this information, or was the residence empty?

Did Brittney have a phone?
