Shreveport Police are searching for a missing Oil City woman after she failed to return home from a doctor’s appointment today.

On July 3, 2018, family members of 33-year-old Roxie Anderson reported her as a missing person after she failed to return home from a doctor’s appointment.

Anderson is described as a black female who stands 5’5” tall and weighs 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt with an American flag and burgundy sweat pants with a stripe.

The comments on the Shreveport Sheriff's department post have a lot of people worried about her, but mostly people who went to school with her. No explanation of why the mixup on the name.

There's mention of a bad storm that went through the area about the time she disappeared. Trying to find if there might be a connection.
