My mistake, I think it was me who wrongly/accidentally mentioned masks... I must have imagined that or read that on “Facebook FBI” (I’m stealing that one btw, get ready...that was epic), and if so, my bad!!

ETA: I’m not even usually on fb anyway lol, I just went there bc you guys said there were some interesting comments there haha...

Me neither. I go for the comments.

If in fact there were two men, then she must have put them up to do this. Maybe she waited for the men to bring the baby to the area to set him on fire.

Or it was only her and an accomplice, maybe not two men as what the mom thought since the suspect could pass for a guy and dresses like one.

This is driving me crazy! I can't find any reference to the people wearing masks. Can you give the link? My sleuthing skills are failing me.

Any article explaining the original 911 report.

This is confusing also because there was a report that the suspect also made a 911 call possibly telling them SHE was the mother.

I’m waiting for the next but of info from lE. This has been full of unreliable information.

So this is about as clear as mud.

It sounds like the suspect had the child and made the call about the men claiming she was the mother. Was she at the mother’s house? If she was at her own house why did she have the child? If she was at the mother’s house why was she there? So many loose ends. I know LE doesn’t owe us any explanations but the reporting on this is making things confusing. Hopefully it all gets untangled soon and justice can be served for this innocent.

If this was the case, then where was his bio mom

I don't trust any of this info right now. Maybe they'll do a press conference in the near future.

I've followed the case from day one and haven't seen any references to masks, including the original report from Natchitoches Police Department
At approximately 9:10 p.m. on July 17 NPD received a 911 call in reference to a 6 month old baby being taken from a residence in Mayberry Trailer Park. Officers arrived and spoke with the mother of the child who advised that two unknown subjects came to her trailer and began beating on her door. She stated upon opening the door she was sprayed in the face with a substance she believed to be mace. She immediately fled the residence to get away from the attackers and upon circling back discovered the baby missing.
The reason I'm making such a fuss about it is that if Levi's mother's story is true then there's at least one more suspect out there. And if Smith wasn't one of the unknowns then there are two people unaccounted for.

Like you say, the reporting on this case has been riddled with inaccuracies but I'm shocked that NPD hasn't released any information about the two people who maced the mother. IMO LE either knows who they are or something's wrong with the mother's story.

I alerted on all the posts that quoted the incorrect headline. It was just eating at me seeing her implicated without cause!

I don't think the comments on the police fb are interesting. I think they are stupid. I think it's a bunch of people trying to claim they know things that they have no clue about.

I give the few who are trying to defend anyone involved here props, they are braver than I am, but I don't think most of them know crap. I don't think it's strange at all IF the mother thought this person was a man! She could easily pass as one with a hat or hoodie on. Not odd.

I see zero indication that the mother was anything but acquaintances with this lady. Looks like a token friend like a coworker or neighbor. I have several facebook friends I never associate with in person.

Assuming that this lady is actually guilty of the charges, I can't say what should be done to her.

The baby is white, the mother is white. The arrested woman is not.

I highly doubt that the arrested lady with a long criminal history adopted Levi. We haven't heard anything to imply that he had more than one mother.

Sometimes cases are just outrageous, yet still true.

Denise Huskins, publicly accused by LAW ENFORCEMENT of faking her abduction. Wasn't lying.

The baby stolen by the dingo - actually true.

The toddler abducted 12 years ago and burned alive, outrageous but true.

Until I see PROOF otherwise I'm going to believe that Levi had a loving, caring family. It's the only thing that at all comforts me with the way his life ended.

I will be surprised if there are no suicides from this. I would never be able to get the sounds and images out of my head.
Yes I am definitely aware that the mother and baby are both white. So the suspect would be the "other mom" im referring to. Obviously I dont think she went to court and legally adopted him. Unfortunately a lot of people let their kids call whoever mom/dad just because they are dating. I guess the problem is sometimes its hard to say things here because there is no MSM link. Im sure more info will come out soon.

I guess I’m still confused about how the mom didn’t recognize her if they weren’t wearing masks? Sorry if I’ve missed something, please help explain, they were friends on Facebook right? How good of friends were they is the question? We dont know this for sure I don’t think, how well they knew each other, just rumors swirling...maybe she was maced so quickly there was no time for recognition...whatever the case, are we correct in saying there’s another perp out there??

Looking through the photos on her page, this woman looks like she hasn't felt any type of emotion since at least 2011. What else has she done? Is she related to the guy in the 2006 case? Who invited her to the funeral of the little baby she'd just murdered? How can someone do something so evil? The only other case I felt so sick to my stomach with is the one where a couple on a date were kidnapped, tortured and murdered, sorry I can't remember the names right now. But the same type of sc human did this. I'm usually on the fence with the death penalty but in this case, no. Get rid of this type of waste.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess she has a drug history. Maybe meth, moo.

For Willow Knight, you were asking about his pain, I hope and suspect Levi was unconscious after a couple minutes :( :(

It’s absolutely unspeakable all of this, what the little baby endured...recovery from such burns might have been too much for this little one to bear, pain wise. It is only for this reason that I take some comfort that maybe it’s best he didn’t survive his injuries. Hope this makes sense. It shouldn’t have happened to begin with, but at least he is no longer in pain. :(
