After a family member reported 22-year-old Mia Magee missing on June 15, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding her, Chief Jimmy Travis said.

Magee, a 5-foot-6-inch Black woman, may be driving a gray 2019 Nissan Sentra whose license plate reads 378 ELO.

Travis said the office does not suspect foul play.

She last spoke to a relative on the phone on June 14.

Travis asks anyone with information about Magee’s location to contact the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-345-6150.

If you Google her name, an Amazon baby registry pops up, for a child due on May 23, 2023. All it says for location is "London," so I initially just dismissed it. Then I thought that certainly there might be someplace called London in the US. Sure enough, my first hit was a town in Ohio. So while I don't have any proof - the registry offers no photos - it definitely could be the same person, living a couple states away.
