If the bike were t-boned by a vehicle only hitting one of the wheels, what kind of damage would you think it would do? I am envisioning a DUI with lights off going through a stop sign or other.

Wow, ingra1237, you are good.

Do we have a link to MSM and not a forum? Is it fact that the bike was NOT dropped? TIA

Trying to stick with the facts. Thanks

Not on that post. The poster/mod is a retired Orlando police officer and has confirmed info along the way, though.

They did clear the area quickly but I'm really thinking if they had recovered a body it would have been leaked by now.

I second that. The media was right there. If the coroners office was called in- they would see it, IMO. Charlie was just live on KATC. If they found Ms, she is a really good actress to be so calm. I don't think they found Mickey but I agree with whoever it was that said they probably found something to lead the investigation to someone.

Maybe we could get those guys that are always blowing things up on TV?

I'd do it, and find a bike, but I'm too far away.

Road trip!

Search called off. Will resume Thursday.

Not taking any more donations.

Bike found in water, they don't believe it was thrown off the bridge.

Other items of interest have been found.

I'm sure everyone has speculated "why Thursday?"

Just jumping in after missing the presser, but my mind immediately went to LE must have significant evidence to postpone the search. They certainly wouldn't take a day off. I can only hope they are close to a resolution.

we felt really weird about it when he found the makeup brush, but hoped that LE had not picked it up because they had better leads to follow. Now we think his info/call fell through the cracks. It really annoys me because the brush was found ON her route, and could possibly tested for dna.

In any wreck some obvious things would be...any lights on her bike could come off an be broken (they are plastic). Her saddle could be scraped or torn. There could also be scrape marks on the bike frame. At least one grip could be damaged.

If any plastic is missing off her bike lights then that would be something to look for to determine a place where she wrecked.

that makes sense. i didnt think about all the news stations trying to be the first with info. her family is in the forefront of my mind.

I have a question and I think its important.........if by any chance someone did hit Mickey on her bike hard enough for her to fall hard enough to be unconscious or possibly internal head injury which later rendered her unconscious. If they brought her to a hospital near or far away is it apossible that medical privacy and confidentiality laws could prevent the doctors nurses etc from saying anything due to the fact that she is an adult?

Hmm I don't think so since she was reported as a missing person.

Wonder if LE thinks the perp is among the volunteer searchers and they are hoping a 2 day break may cause the perp to revisit 'his' special area??

  • #92
Okay, guys, here's the links to the video I took of the route she might have taken.

Part 1

Part 2

Great job! Thank you!

I can't believe how long a route she took considering she was so tired. My understanding is there was a faster way to get home?

ingra you are the best!

You have transcribed SO MANY pressers in so many cases! Your work is very much
appreciated!!

So in the most recent presser, LE is saying the car is a GMC 80s or 90s?? Where's chicken fried??? Is this possible??

JVM will have Mickey's case on her show tonight. 7 pm Eastern

From other cases, we HAVE seen volunteer searching suspended, while TES does its thing. It does not mean LE is close to an arrest or anything like that. It just means that TES has made their surveys and determined the best search areas for now, and it is to be left to the pros for now. They will let the public know when they need more bodies again. At least this is how it has worked in some other cases. JMO

And if someone knows who did this, turn them in! I'm sure if someone has done this on accident, they'd want their family to know that they're ok. I mean seriously, this is crazy. We must find Mickey!

Does LUS really only have ONE camera. Why would they have a camera for only one entrance/ parking lot, when the building is surrounded by parking lots and has multiple entrances? Further up (after the drive thru) where I was suspecting Mickey cut though, their should be another camera. If it had the same angles, you'd see Pizza Hut/Buns and maybe Brashear St. She could have easily taken a left there. If she had, she wouldn't have been on the next camera that we see the car and truck.
Just please, if you live or work in that Johnston/Univerity/Congress/St. Mary Blvd, check your cameras!!!

You are right. It would be strange that LCG/LUS would only have that one poorly positioned camera. Even if she cut through the next parking lot to Azalea, I would think at least one more camera would catch a glimpse of her.

In reply to the above posts from the last thread:

I passed by LCG yesterday to take a look at the cameras, and the camera setup was only a T-pole with one camera facing the street and one camera facing the parking lot. Not much.

Yes that would be consistent with chicken fried's assessment. After watching the press conference, I'm certain LE knows more.
This gives me hope that this will come to a resolution soon. Whoever did this more than likely took the handlegrips off of the bike.
