I wasn't here for the Casey Anthony case but that would have been surreal to me. I'm a local for this case because I went to graduate school in Lafayette but I was born and raised in Orlando. These are the only two cases I have ever followed because they hit close to home for me but it pains me to think how "common" this kind of stuff is around the country. :maddening:

Ok, I'm going to post all the info that we got about the white truck from the other thread. Things were flying so fast, and also the presser was going on, I think this information, given by this poster is very important to Mickey's case. Just want it all to be here for reference.

have not had time to read and catch up today but here are some of my findings on the pics...

My level of expertise in graphic design/editing software is expert/professional.

first pic of bike...
vehicle 15-20 yards behind bike pointing in same direction slowing or possibly stopped in loading zone... headlights appear off... braking based on light cast from rear of vehicle
...she is riding in the middle of the only lane in that direction.

second pic of bike (circle k)... appears she rode through a red light to cross University as it appears green in the other direction... there is no traffic...
... she is riding in the middle of the only lane in that direction...

pic of truck (circle K-following) pic is cropped and cannot see the state of the traffic light... the timeline might indicate truck had to wait for red light but was following per previous bike pic. same timeline as bike passing based on gas station patrons/movement

pic of truck (circle k-leaving) truck left turn lane slowing for red light.
tailgate is up per the fact we can see the license plate light which would be obstructed by a down tailgate... based on angles of reflection from upper backlighting, appears to have a white bed cover and dark upper window visors... possible off kilter fuel door enough to reflect light differently, or possible aftermarket. based on turning location, truck should appear on university camera in less than a minute dependent on the length of wait time at current red light

person leaning on car getting gas...
person in white t appears running toward store, possibly a passenger based on angle subject is moving away from car, fuel door most likely on passenger side of vehicle)

truck pic (university) truck appears clean, tires reflect light (possibly just shined) possible paved road travel only to this point per shiny tires... dark upper window visors reflecting light, possible white bed cover, 5 spoke wheels possibly stock. license plate appears flat (printed, not stamped) per even reflection, appears white with red upper lettering possibly similar to california's.

i need to go for a bit but will look more into them later... from what I have reviewed so far the truck appears to be the same truck in all pics, though i have read all your arguments about different trucks as the do certainly "appear" to be as was my opinion also "before i took them apart"... once i have time to bust out my slide-rule to get an accurate timeline i can contribute more

this is all of course, my opinion and could be wrong... but i am good at what i do... (i still have my waxer from when cut and paste meant "cut and paste") in no way could i upload all my work, but if anybody has a specific argument to any of this i will try to take the time to address it... but lets keep the argument civil and stay on point and we can work on this together...

i did not go off of what was said or what we were told... i went off what i had... pics. news is not a credible source to me. i used professional tools to break these apart and have an experienced eye for the little details. the news is only going off what they were told... i have trained people in various fields of graphic design and photo manipulation... i have (in the past) been invited to colleges to speak on this subject to students... that being said... i'm just a regular guy, and i do make mistakes (but only according to my wife i believe one person "can" make a difference... i'm trying to help.

you are correct in this case... the timestamps on university are very telling...
not what times the cars passed...
the fact that one says 1:49:38 and the other says 1:51:27 says a lot about the frame-rate... we know there are many more pics or video from this camera based on those times...

if one was at 1:49:38 and the other at 1:51:38... we might assume it snaps a pic at lest once per minute

the fact they they are at odd times to each other says at least one pic snapped per second and possibly full motion video is available to them

this is moving too fast for me... please go back and read my post about my pic findings...

window visors on truck
vehicle with lights off following bike in first pic
etc... much of what i found has not been discussed as far as i've seen

please take a look... i spent time on this i don't have and if anyone would like me to continue to... at least take a look a my findings thus far....

this is the same truck... it turned left at circle k onto university (fact) at least a fact that it was in the lane to turn left in the pic...
university camera WILL have this pic... (FACT) based on the given known framerate unless it is motion sensing but then yields the same results.

it looks different but is the same truck

so this truck in in a possible 5 of the 6 pics we have
I do not believe the vehicle (white truck) stopped in front of that OLDS (going in opposite direction) was in a loading zone at all. Right after the apts the OLDS is passing on the left there is an intersection (which it seems like the white truck just passed). To the left would be an OBGYN office; across from that would be currently functioning hospital services (LOURDES IMAGING CENTER). The old parking lot is much further down the street on the right in back of that white vehicle. The white truck COULD be unloading things at the OBGYN offices, but FWIW I think there is a side entrance pretty accessible on the other side of the OBGYN office. That office is actually a home. As far as parking there and unloading to the medical offices across the street (the block in front of the OLDS); these medical offices have their own delivery area. I know because one of them is my own dentist. Martin and Castille funeral home has a circular driveway; in which someone could have turned around in quickly.

I would think it's someone from Lafayette who dumped the bike there because they're stupid and know that's a good area to get rid of stuff...but didn't do it very well.

'Over a week before the bicycle was located'. Water negates forensics evidence. If not for the aware fishermen, the bicycle would still be hidden in the murky water undetected..

what about the gas compartment cover? its clearly visible in the first picture, but not the second. not saying its not the same truck, just trying to figure out why i cant see it.

Those 2 trucks are very similar and very different from the 3rd picture. I looked for the chrome gas cap in the first picture and the light glare makes it hard to tell. I opened the pic with GIMP and tried to enhance only the white and black saturation trying to identify the gas cap but could not get a definite answer.

i am a little behind today... i am hoping someone else here can do that for me/you...
understand... on tv when trying to enhance a bad photo they may push the enhance button a few times and end up with a clear picture... it may start there but ends up as something less "visual"... picture an actual heart beating... then picture a sine wave on an ekg... the ekg is just showing a mathematical representation of this beating heart but can tell us a lot more than just "looking" at a heart... somebody here can probably "photoshop" them clearer for you, but I am looking at the picture's "ekg" as well as the photo itself...

that being said... in the first pic of the bike there is a signature of a car about 15 yards behind her but you cant "see" it. the headlights produce a only a reflection from ambient lighting and are clearly off. This is a single lane in this direction and a vehicle should not be parked there. once looking at the right area, you can "see" what appears to be a light source behind it, based on the shadow cast by the vehicle, it appears to be brake lights...

think 15 yards behind her and look again... it is small... top edge on the right

hope that helped...

My God I didn't even notice that. Wasn't looking much at that picture. Where was this, does anyone know?

HERE is the link to the most recent flyer I made.

After that press conference, basically telling the public it's their job to find the car, it's fair game.

Feel free to print it out and distribute it far and wide.

I posted that to my own FB acct (which I was just about to close before seeing Mickey's story). Thanks, CF!

Probably a local from Lafayette, or very familiar with Lafayette because looks like she went missing from the Saints Streets area. Also does not look like that person was very aware of the boat activity at that ramp. But yes, not very smart if he was TRYING to lose a bike in the basin and couldn't do it.

'Sadly, Questioning, until we are affected by a missing/abducted/murdered person, we are not aware of the frequency.' With each case more & more folks get involved, in one capacity or the other. Many become searchers, many advocates, many researchers, many sleuthers, etc. The involuntary fraternity of the new life's normal grows dramatically each year due to awareness by the families of the missing and others concerned of the Silent Epidemic..

Or he was in a rush to get rid of it and knew that putting it there would probably give him a day or two.

And also, if she DID go down Brashear (which is likely since she's not on the next camera at St. Landry) that would've only taken her about 20 seconds from 1:48am at the circle K. With the car being down university at 1:49 am and not even having reached St. Landry yet, it never would've even crossed her path or seen her by the time it reached this point....unless of course it went down Brashear too. But that's doubtful because of the traffic barriers. Any VEHICLE wanting to cut across to Johnston wouldn't take Brashear
Brashear would be a 'safe bet'; she would have felt it was safe. residential. near hospital. OK. divulging that I walk amongst these hospitals a lot and being in a loading deck is some of the scariest places I would never find myself alone. Not a day goes by when I feel like I am being eyed by evil and could be followed from there. One such place that I know is scary is the loading area of the Catholic hospital directly across the OBGYN front office on Brashear. There is a side street between that parking lot/loading area to that hospital that may or may not be affiliated with the hospital. I had not thought of it before but that place is creepy even in daylight.

The other creepy place I know of is; if she went down St Mary towards Pinhook there is a subway.pj's coffehouse with a side street. One time when it was busy in town I was looking for parking on that side street. follow it and it turns creepy. abandoned homes. at night that would be an ideal place for an abduction IMHO.

And this is going to sound crazy and terrible but has everyone looked inside the churches. There was a case many years ago (1980's) of a young woman abducted at Stanford and found dead sprawled inside the Church. sickening to think of.

Further down from Church (wisdom) two blocks is a bar on the left by a printing tshirt company. I am not sure the name or how late it stays open but I would not doubt she could find pot in there. I am wondering if there is any reason she would have gone that far down; to pinhook and south college. If so, that same truck could have been in the area of Tasha.

IF MS went right instead of left on Brashear she would have been in a nice neighborhood..towards AZALEA.

In the photo of Mickey, on St Landrey, I don't believe (at that moment) that she knew she was being stalked or she would have pulled into the Circle K. More evidence of this coming down very fast.

:seeya: Good evening, everyone. Y'all have really been busy today. I appreciate all the hard work you've done. That said, I have to remind you that only information released by law enforcement is considered factual for the purposes of this board. Anything else is speculative. That is not to say it's inaccurate, but until verified by LE it remains a theory.

Hello all! I am new here. Just finished reading all the threads. I love the way everyone interacts here! All good thoughts of what could have happened. I read a lot of Statement Analysis, and I was dumb founded last night while watching NG and heard BW speak of MS in the past tense twice. Did anyone else hear him say she "was" good at things?

People do that all of the time so don't make anything of it!

My God I didn't even notice that. Wasn't looking much at that picture. Where was this, does anyone know?

this is on versailles, right before the university intersection. there is a middle school across the st, hence the speed limit school zone sign

submerging the bike in the water vs dropping the bike tells me a few things (just my opinion here):
1) this was done to buy time/hide the evidence (think calculated... throwing it off the bridge would be more of an impulse type situation)
2) the person knows the area he put the bike in... and would have had to do it when there weren't fishermen around: which means before 5-ish am as some fishers are known to get a pretty early start
3) the person could pass this spot on a regular basis while commuting to work, live near the area, and or be a fisher-person that has fished the area.

just some thoughts

I have been trying to keep up, but have not been able to read every single page, so I don't know if someone has already mentioned this. Is it possible she met someone new, who possibly approached her at Artmosphere? That person may have invited her to some kind of after-party and she didn't want to let BW (am I getting that right?) know? So, she may have been headed somewhere other than home, somewhere her abductor wanted her to go, just so they could follow her and pick her up? I'm sure investigators are already doing it, but I would be looking at video from Artmosphere to see who all she had been talking to that night, or questioning people to see if she had possibly been talking to strangers.
I'm only thinking this because when I was younger and out with male friends, men would sometimes come up to me while my friend was in the bathroom or getting drinks and try to get me to leave with them, although I never did!

Hi WS. I've been reading these threads for days. I have lived in Lafayette since I was 14,(am 33 now), and I believe whoever did this is here in Lafayette parish. JMO:notgood:
