What is TES? I searched with my cell phone and my own vehicle up until wednesday. Then Equasearch came in and made the cell phone rule. Maybe they do not want PINGS in all these locations in case something was found?

Yes, one of the two I think.

If they left the bike there, there would be clear and present evidence that something was quite wrong indeed; as it was, the perp - if this indeed is the way it happened - gained a valuable amount of time.

So the perp must be local then? If it was an out of towner, why would he care? He'd leave the bike and take off before anybody would notice. It was 2:00 am.

So is the consensus she was stalked or someone accidently hit her and they panicked?

The stalking has me stumped. Why wouldn't the perp just grab her and leave the bike there? Taking her and the bike is so strange. If the perp stalked her and hit her back wheel to knock her off the bike, I don't get why he/she had to take the bike and then think of a location to dump it the same morning? Was Mickey in the vehicle when he/she dumped the bike?

So many questions......:sigh:

I thinking more like a Sherry Arnold type situation myself (in other words perp/perps out cruising around looking for trouble):twocents:

I do not believe the vehicle (white truck) stopped in front of that OLDS (going in opposite direction) was in a loading zone at all. Right after the apts the OLDS is passing on the left there is an intersection (which it seems like the white truck just passed). To the left would be an OBGYN office; across from that would be currently functioning hospital services (LOURDES IMAGING CENTER). The old parking lot is much further down the street on the right in back of that white vehicle. The white truck COULD be unloading things at the OBGYN offices, but FWIW I think there is a side entrance pretty accessible on the other side of the OBGYN office. That office is actually a home. As far as parking there and unloading to the medical offices across the street (the block in front of the OLDS); these medical offices have their own delivery area. I know because one of them is my own dentist. Martin and Castille funeral home has a circular driveway; in which someone could have turned around in quickly.

i did not discuss the pic you are referring to in detail but am familiar with it... the pic with the loading zone i spoke of is a bike pic in front of a school...
i will look more into that pic when i have more time to...

In other cases, Equisearch has come to town, done some initial work and maybe some searching and then retreated to make a more extensive plan of areas to search, after meeting with LE, examining pings, if any, etc. TM does drives around the area and looks for likely places a perp might hide a victim. So they may be at that stage, where they are working out where to search next. JMO

Maybe she wouldn't let go.

I didn't follow her case. Was the perp a local? TIA

They were two men, passing through, supposedly looking for work, kind of thing...

texas equsearch=TES

I think TES has pretty good reasons for not allowing cell phones on searches... iirc one is that in the past they had searchers take pictures of the search and put them online...

Well....not necessarily. But if whomever finds a Schwinn Madison lying there with damage to it does the right thing and contacts LE, that will certainly trigger a more immediate response than if the perpetrator takes the bike too; it wouldn't take long at all to put that bike in the vehicle along with Mickey. If Mickey were either stalked or if this was a crime of opportunity, an organized offender would not leave evidence of that nature at the crime scene.

Sherry Arnold left behind a sneaker when she fought with her attackers (she was out for an early morning jog)

I would not be surprised at all if LE has found other items in the area including one of the handle grips, etc

This has been my thinking too. This case reminds me a lot of Sherry's actually. However, based on the invaluable input from the locals in this case describing the roads and the neighborhoods, I think this is a local perp/perps unlike in Sherry's case. JMO

Been thinking,...Was BW bike stolen by the possible perp (assuming it was someone she knew) out of jealousy or spite? A sign of things to come?

Looks like I missed quite a bit while taking my sick son to urgent care.
