Myspace site, 'flogthegirl' only visible to friends.

Same for me, but honestly did not need to go any further than "flogthegirl".

Googled out of optimism, that it was a Band as they are "concert" goers. No Band. But a personality insite, I believe.

With the lack of evidence or leads, I would be focusing all my time on conducting surveillance on BW and see where that takes me in the next few weeks. But sadly, working on this case independently I dont have the resources/funds to conduct such an extensive investigation so I'm limited in how much I can actually contribute. Buta continued search and extensive surveillance on BW is what should be done IMO

If they bought food and brought it to his house, it would be easy to prove. Food wrappers.

WILSON: We went to my house. It was too late to bike indoors (ph) with Taco Bell. So we got in the car, and I took her through the drive- through. She picked something up, brought it back. She ate it.

I'll see your "wrappers" evidence and raise you the "drive through" video evidence. But yes, I agree, that would corroborate his "food run" story.

It's totally plausible that she was still hungover the next night. It is also totally plausible that they went to Taco Bell at 2am. They are young and that's what young people do.

Though I am not "21" young, my hangovers can occasionally creep into a second day? Actually that's more "THE" case than not. Further from "21" than I thought :)

if something happened in that house the entire day of Sunday could have been spent disappearing evidence...

Police didn't open the investigation until Monday..

At this point, if LE looked for wrappers to corroborate the story and the guy said he took out his trash I will wonder if they ever existed at all.

I did notice in the monday pictures of the search that portable totes for trash were out along the road... wondering if Monday was trash day in the area?

eta: it has been 6 days now.. wondering why there has not been a press conference called by police?????

Mahmoo,

Thank you for your search efforts and description of your experience.

(for anyone who might know)
I am wondering if anything is being done to log information about "who" is participating in the searches. In cases I have followed lately searchers need proper ID. It would seem likely in this case that the perp might insert himself into the investigation. This logging of searcher ID might help investigators narrow down a suspect.

I don't find the fact that BW mentioned checking the tire pressure terribly unusual. Many avid cyclists do a walk-around check of their bikes -- lights, tire pressure, tweak the seat height etc. before they ride off. And they're always chatting about the latest pieces of gear and accessories, so the fact that he mentioned it is probably part of what would be a normal (for a cyclist) explanation about the events of the evening.

I think what some of us might perceive as weird or even suspect phrasing by BW might be due to "the generation gap". I'm sure in hindsight BW wishes he had insisted he drive her home or that she'd spent the night. Maybe his feelings of guilt over that are coming across in his comments as uneasiness and that is causing people to sense that he could be culpable in some way?

The lurking green van is much higher on my list of probabilities.

He kind of reminds me of Stephen McDaniel.

Why would he get something to eat if he wasn't hungry? I don't think the friend had anything to do with it. Everything he's said is totally possible and even likely in my opinion. He is cooperating with police and truly seems concerned for his friend. I know people have nodoby else to sleuth right now but he seems to be honest. JMHO
Yeah I agree. I have a hard time suspecting someone just because they were the last to see the missing person...unless he has a history of violence against women or the missing woman in particular or a restraining order against him or something like that.

I totally agree that LE should do their due diligence and check him out but I don't see any specific reason to suspect him, especially in this case where biking home at night doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary for Mickey and where there are so many very plausible things that could have happened to her on the way home.

Yes, if she doesn't turn up on any of the possible en route security cameras, I suspect investigators will be talking to some person or people again.

Include Taco Bell cameras here as well.

I think TAI makes a good point.

1) If it was a abduction, the Saints streets is just littered with house after house. They are also right on top of each other and would not be hard to hear screams of a women fighting someone from taking her.

2) If it was a hit and take, it would be also unlikely due to the noise and lack of common place for someone not to panic and speed off.

3) It does make much more sense she got in willingly with someone she knew OR never left the house. The entire case is just extremely odd, literally like her and the bike vanished in thin air with not a single sole seeing or hearing anything.

Is anyone else curious as to why police have not held an update/presser on this case? I find that really odd.

:seeya: Thank You for this update !

I am happy to hear that TES is involved ... Mr. Miller and his organization are :great: !

:please: Prayers that Mickey is found soon !

This is the single one bit of news that actually gives me faith that Mickey will come home soon!
This community support is beyond the best effort I have seen in the few years I have followed cases on WS. They have been so very diligent and the love they have for Mickey gives me goosebumps.
I am glad to see they have moved the search headquarters, now that TES has come in at the family's request I hope the big focus and burden will be lifted from some of these wonderful volunteers. He has the equipment and personnel to hopefully provide the next step of the investigations and move forward. His experience and organization are much needed after all of the time Mickeys been missing.

:please: for the searches, volunteers and Mickey's Family!

I think the best bet now is to hope TES find something. There are still MANY areas that havent been searched. On the little bit of surveillance and canvassing Ive done thus far, many of the really bad areas around the saint streets havent been checked yet. Including run down construction areas and that creepy lot with the hundreds of refrigerators and washing machines. I dont blame people for not wanting to go into these areas, but the fact remains there are many places left to search and hopefully TES will come up with something.

in that interview I just posted he also said that when they were at his house after the concert friends called to check on them.

I would think he would call to check that she made it back safe, right?

furthermore it has also been reported that her phone was off early saturday..

I am sure LE has checked the taco bell cameras (and his trash for wrappers) to verify his story right?

not accusing the guy... but he WAS the last one to see her and is thus "ground zero" for the investigation.

TWO friends called to check on them. IDK, but find that a little strange. Maybe they wanted to check on MS too. ? Then he goes on to state they wanted to go someplace else to get something to eat, when in the JVM interview he says everyone wanted to just go home. He also stated that the relationship was just friends, but has to add it was ok with him. That is way off, imo. Check on tires, mace and then go outside? Had they brought the bike into the house?

I was waiting for her to be seen on video before putting this guy in the crosshairs...and no video of her has come up.

Has it been noted what he's majoring in? The use of the word inertia was odd.

I really, really didn't want to focus on this guy, but he's slipped up, imo.

I wish that Brettly had appeared to be distraught over the disappearance of Mickey. He was very "matter of fact" and didn't appear to be worried. I am hoping that he is just a very optimistic young man. At least he didn't refer to her in past tense which was relieving.

BBM Maybe he is an applied math, engineering, or physics major.
