Ok I am going in search of that forum. Hopefully I won't get lost!
Hope to see you all again soon.

right now when you are in this forum, look at the very top where is shows what thread you are in...at the end you'll see Mickey Shunick, (underlined link)if you click on that it will take you to the sub-form. You can also, click on this: and drag the [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=502"]Mickey Shunick - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame] to your desktop. Then all you have to do is click on that when you want to go to her sub-forms. Just drag the paper icon next to the address in the address bar and drag it.

Yep you're right, it gets my blood pressure up anyway. BTW I just can't make out what your holding in your avatar. What is it? I had my 10 yr old look at it and he said he wasn't sure, but that you looked like iCarly lol.

It's five little puppies (who are all grown up now)! Bishop, Lord Greystoke, Skillet, Silverbell (now Sylvia), and Dottie.

ETA: I had to google iCarly -- maybe a clue that I'm old as dirt, LOL, so NOT iCarly!! (I feel younger now, somehow, though, LOL)

Hold on, I know what you want. I'll move them for you.

But, yes. You can copy posts from here to another thread.

Okay, call me stupid, but how do you find these sub-forums...I see nothing related to Mickey anymore without doing a search from homepage.

I read this article yesterday actually....

I don't really agree with the idea of BL moving bodies; I don't think that is what is meant by tampering; I think it means continues to keep hidden.

I respectfully disagree... I think he moved MS and maybe another victim. Good thing LE is on this.

It was like one of those trick pictures that you suddenly see an image in. They're very cute. Yeah I'm old as dirt also, I only know who she is cause the kids watch the show.

I am not a forum fan...it seems like less activity and posting happens after a while...I know I post less on forums, as I try to decide which thread it should go on, and then say "never mind"...but that is just me. JMO

I'm the opposite; I love forums. I don't think it's forums that cause postings to go down. I think it's just the passage of time, lack of news, little media coverage, etc.

I agree with you regarding the number of users going down with the passage of time.
However, I understand what cluciano63 is saying, and prefer the more fluid, conversational nature of a thread that isn't too narrow in the topic. I can see how trying to decide which thread to read and participate in can lead to saying "never mind".

I noticed that, too. As far as the first part - how he got her to go with him, they seem to have written it to cover all bases - enticed/persuaded/seized/carried - this tells me they don't know how she went with him - must not have evidence.

But - the second part - "for her release" does tell me that, if it's been worded finely, that they somehow have evidence that he told her to obey if she wanted to be released.

My #1 reading of this is that they have a video he took, or a diary. Still photos couldn't show a bargain like that, IMO.

or when he blabbed to inmates he told them that he told her he'd release her if she did this or that

Gonna sign off for a while until y'all get this baby going, LOL!

(My inclination is to post on and on in the general discussion thread until I'm all by myself and the mods come to shoo me off -- so best I depart for a little bit, instead.) I'll track y'all down later. Anybody gets lost, just holler real loud!!

I got the funniest image in my head of mods shaking their heads while you sit here kicking and screaming, "nooooo...I don't wanna go!!" :giggle:

Don't worry, it'll be fine. There are always one or two threads that are pretty "general" in topic. The topical threads are a great way to keep information contained for easy reference, and provide an area for folks so inclined to put a particular aspect of a case under the microscope. It's the best of both worlds. Seriously. :)

Yes, and if you are going to stay with this through the trial it is a wonderful way to archive conversation and go back to find things. You will see that all of the other forum chatter will end (jq all but died weeks ago) going forward to the trial websleuth is really the only place to be.

Eta- now you can take a night off to watch the olympics and pop back in to organized discussions, and focus on what is on your mind rather than getting derailed by other conversations.

See you on the flip!

has anyone found a picture of Danielle Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge?

That same month, in Oct. 1999, a hunter in St. Martin Parish found the
badly decomposed body of 24-year-old Danielle Thibodeaux of Breaux
Bridge.

i dont think it has ever been mentioned before. sure, i thought about his route to new orleans that he would go that way. but it never dawned on me that he would be around these parts too. several times people have brought up the abandoned pier/building by the mississippi. you can see it as you pass over the bridge, on the baton rouge side. closer to lsu. then, another poster mentioned several times around lsu and bleachers or something to that extent. i tried to search previous threads but didnt come up with any matches. ive been to the pier several times. lots of highschool graduates take senior pics there. its creepy. i am free this afternoon and i have no problem going snoop around and take pics for yall. i just wish i could find the previous post so i dont go in vain. :waitasec:

it was me that asked about the pier. but someone said it would be difficult to get a body up there. i have never ventured out to that spot because I always thought it seemed creepy

i don't remember who was posting about the LSU stadium. I remember when they did that i thought they must have meant to type USL or UL??

I was looking for a photo of her today. There is another woman by the same name in the same town with a current fb account, but I couldn't find a single photo of the one whose body was found. Maybe someone can find one in an archived newspaper from that time.
