I respectfully disagree... I think he moved MS and maybe another victim. Good thing LE is on this.

I've mentioned this thought a couple of times. I just can't help but wonder if Mickey was in any position to be capable of inflicting all those wounds.
I am also at this point wondering if he had all of the wounds at the first hospital visit. In particular the finger/hand. When did he go to the second hospital to have the surgery? How much time was in between the two hospitals? Where was he, what was he doing in-between the 2 hospitals?

I think I'm just going to stay put in this thread. I like to read all questions and think about lots of topics and have lots of feedback. If I ever feel the need to talk about the DWT, I'll go to that sub forum.

But for the most part, can we just stay here? I don't like change. Someone comfort me and tell me it will be ok in this forum. :therethere:

I took it as he moved the bodies after the killing occurred. I thought it was a simple or vague statement...i don't think it means he moved the bodies more than once MOO Although, he def could have!!!

I believe LE and the media have done a great job in not releasing the name of the surviving victim. I don't think it's out there to find in a web search, nor do I think it's appropriate to even try and dig it up. Because of her bravery in reporting her attack to LE, BL was off the streets and locked up for 8 years. She deserves the respect of having her privacy and anonymity maintained. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to be harsh. I just think that victim's right to privacy supercedes the public's right to know.

Thanks for this post. Her name was slipped when the report was first given in the case which is truly awful. She is a brave woman who deserves her privacy. her name should definitely not be dug up

Usually, justwannahelp, the general discussion thread will eventually be closed when a case goes to this format.

But bessie was saying earlier that often, one of the new threads will take on a more "general discussion" nature than the others.

Ahh, y'all are making my heart hurt! It's not so bad, honest. All the news and info topics are in one place, just posts, no comments--all the discussions that interest you, you will gravitate to. I know it feels like we're all 'breaking up' but honestly, it becomes easier to navigate with time.

It's not impossible, many families are large (especially several generations back it was common to have 10-12 kids and then those kids have another 10-12 kids etc.) and a lot of local families have been here for many, many generations. We run into people we are related to (that we've never actually met before) on a regular basis. When you meet someone, usually one of the first questions they ask is "Who's your momma?" etc. until they find a common family connection lol. There are a lot of common surnames in this area (and all over Acadiana) that might seem unique to an outsider but here are even more common than Smith or Jones, such as Lavergne, Burleigh, Guidry, Boudreaux, Leger, Arceneaux, Daigle, Babineaux, Richard, Fontenot, etc.

You took the words out of my mouth!! Hubby and I joke that Church Point is the Garden of Eden for Cajuns! We can go anywhere it seems and meet someone who knows someone or is related to someone from there, lol!

I know how you feel. When I first followed a case close, I loved the general thread and I found it so difficult to stay on top of all the other sub threads however once you get use to it you'll not need any comfort.

I believe that this will be the last general thread then no more on this case, you will have to navigate though the sub-forums. Sorry

My LE hubby and I were just saying, "If this INDEED BSLs real dad, then BSL would be the example of the so called "gene" or "programmed" to kill...or as hubby said, "His medulla oblungatta was not programmed for rays of sunshine!" I know people don't have a per say that part, but I've seen scans of brains from criminals that particular areas DO light up when anger, aggression or the likes is introduced to them. If birth momma was also a rape Vic of KM, then that "unwanted, rejected, useless" feeling consumed this dude too. So, for the sake of an example and JMOO, he had the strikes against him. Born of rage, rape and rejection. He then turns those things into a real "thing" in his life. It's like Bundy, he was (so said) born of incest; then after he was born, his mother passed him off as her brother (which if it was incest, he was but also her son). I was also told that BSLs dad (the one alive) and the step-dad ARE related...again, confusion. Family dynamics are not "normal".

My cousin and her brothers and sister were victims of incest. She and her sister are now serving time (one in Tx, the other in La) for murdering their momma. I was told by family that she had pinned up rage from as a kid that it finally caused her to snap. She, even passed that "way of life" down to her kids (oldest daughter got preggo for step-dad)...it's a cycle that if not broken will continue. Again, JMOO from my studies.

But it would also be an example of environment if what someguy says is true and he sustained severe physical and mental abuse. He possibly could have been normal without the abuse even if predisposed genetically

No, seriously, I know it will probably be best in the long run and will make a lot of posters happier, as they have been asking for it. But -- especially for you new folks who haven't followed a sub-forum case before -- hold on, 'cause it might be a little confusing at first! Just hang in, and you'll soon get the workings of it clear.

You're making me feel so bad. This thread will close pretty soon, but we have two threads sitting down there that have had no activity yet at all, Mickey's and Lisa's. We'll use those threads to remember the victims and discuss our theories of what happened to them, much like the GD thread except we'll have separate threads for the victims.
