Authorities have identified Kaylee Fontenot and Taylor Broussard as the suspects and parents of the infant. Policed said they have located and arrested Fontenot, who is now in custody. Taylor Broussard remains at large, and investigators are actively searching for him. He is considered wanted on the charges listed below.

Two Louisiana parents are in custody after they were accused of killing their 2-month old infant.

The infant was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Police said the girl suffered serious injuries, including broken rib bones and a severed lower spine, while also showing signs of extreme dehydration and malnourishment.

On Nov. 3, police said Broussard turned himself in and he was booked into St. Landry Parish jail.

What monsters. Looking at the photos posted to Facebook linked above, I think there is a noticeable difference between the very young ones and the closer to 2 month old photos. Poor thing, her expression and eye contact is just different. MOO

The child was only two months old, and she was able to show hurt and fear (IMO).

So glad they are in custody.

St. Landry Parish is a neighboring parish to Lafayette Parish. The Opelousas Police Department is small and struggles to afford police officers. Unfortunately, LE keeps busy due to a high crime rate. It’s good that the perps were arrested quickly. What a horrific crime.

Agree, there seems to be something going on with her eyes, speculation but maybe from brain swelling/shaken baby syndrome.

Absolutely vile creatures that could do this to a tiny newborn. That poor baby girl lived a short life of pain and suffering. My heart breaks.

Looked on Taylor's FB page at all the pics of Alora. Those are by far the most disturbing baby pics I have ever seen. WTH did these monsters do to that precious angel?????
