I wish I could say I was shocked, but this is pretty much PRE Katrina New Orleans as well as POST Katrina New Orleans.

After having lived in Biloxi for a couple years I was going to say the same thing about New Orleans. Our news in Biloxi always had stories about stuff like this in New Orleans.

Clarence Johnson is serving life in prison in Angola after being found guilty of second-degree murder.

Vanessa Johnson was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the crime, but was found not guilty by a jury after less than three hours of deliberating by jurors in Criminal Court.
