Since the crewless boat was spotted a little before 6 a.m. I'm guessing the mishap happened during the night.

Wasn't it stated in one of the articles posted that the guy was found after being in the water for 13 hours? how long after the boat was spotted was he found?? So yes, sometime during the evening before is when they would have gone swimming .. too bad there weren't any other boats out on the lake that could have possible rescued them or noticed the crewless boat in the early evening RIP Sadie

The Orleans Parish coroner has confirmed the body of a woman pulled from Lake Pontchartrain on Tuesday was that of Sadie Thibodeaux, 31, who disappeared from a boat Sunday.

Her friend and ex seem very suspicious. Can't say I blame them because things don't seem right IMHO. Hopefully more details will come out.

Thanks, JerseyGirl, for the update. On a crime sleuthing board it is too easy to assume that every situation is nefarious when some are just accidental tragedies. This appears to be one.

Such tragedy and sometimes I believe that an accident is still the same grief. But murder is grief plus extream anger. So as with her accidental death we can move on in her honor. This is so sad, Sadie had so much to give this world. Prayers for family, and loved ones. Rest easy Sadie.
