Springhill Police seek missing teen | Minden Press-Herald

According to the Springhill Police Department, Perkins left home Tuesday between midnight and 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Perkins is believed to be with 26-year-old Anthony Alvey. Alvey is from the Shreveport-Bossier area and is a convicted felon, according to police.

Springhill Police looking for missing teen girl

Police believe Perkins has been chatting with Alvey online and left home to meet him.

They believe the two are still in the area.

Why oh why? Time after time these young girls do the same thing, meet up
with someone they have met online who has spinned a fantasy about themselves.

Springhill teen reported missing returns; man arrested

A convicted felon has added another arrest to his record after returning a Springhill teenager who had been reported as missing.

Springhill police earlier this week charged Anthony Alvey, 26, with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, but on Wednesday upgraded that to indecent behavior with a juvenile, Police Chief Will Lynd said.

Alvey returned the 16-year-old girl to her home over the weekend. She was reported as missing on June 5.
