The weights may even belong to Jane Doe. This could have been staged, like how the Annandale Jane Doe from 1996 asphyxiated herself through suicide.

All signs point to this case being a homicide. Additionally, the fact that she was pregnant makes homicide even more likely.

And—here’s a weird thought—I’m just throwing it out there, without any real belief in it. What if that mysterious phone call came from someone involved with the crime, and the ‘second person’ referred to was her unborn child? If someone killed her because she was pregnant....
