Texas woman reported missing in New Orleans

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a Texas woman reported missing in the city.

Tamara Gibson was visiting a friend in New Orleans at an unknown location for the past month, according to the report.

NOPD said she has not telephoned her husband or children in more than three days.

She was last heard from on November 16, 2018 at about 5:30 p.m. A check of local hospitals was unsuccessful, according to the report.

Gibson is described as a white female standing approximately 5’9” tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds. She is further described as having multiple tattoos, including “Temathy” on her left wrist, “A Mothers Love” on her left bicep, a peacock on her right thigh and a lion’s face on her left thigh.

It's interesting that the article says her husband back home in Texas has not heard from her in 3 days yet no information about when she was last seen or heard from in New Orleans (or confirmation she was there)

Looked up New Orleans Police Department First District FB page since the article listed to the number to call to reach detectives specifically at the first district, but this FB page is less active it seems than the other, and also doesn't have any posts about Tamara....

According to public data, Gibson is from Socorro, Texas, a city outside El Paso.

Also strange that she has been gone a month, and it's an "unknown location" of a "friend."

Shouldn't the husband know exactly where she was supposed to be staying? Especially since they had apparently been in contact up until the 15th?

Does she work I wonder or stay at home? Was she supposed to have arrived back already or was she still supposed to be down there over the holidays (or Thanksgiving at least?)

Go back to the opening of the thread. She had the word "temathy" tattooed on her wrist at the time she went missing. So the two them have some history. An "ex" perhaps?
