NEW ORLEANS — The mother of Torie Harris, 27, is anxious and confused as she awaits information about her son she has not heard from.

He was going to the French Quarter before New Year's Day attack. His mom still can't find him.

Torie Harris, 27, of New Orleans, was last seen Tuesday night when he told a family member he was heading to the French Quarter to hang out for New Year's, his mother said.

In the hours after the Bourbon Street attack, Reonda Mott anxiously awaited word from her 27-year-old son, Torie Harris, of New Orleans, who'd last been seen about 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve when he told a relative he was headed to the French Quarter to hang out.

Mott called local hospital and jails, but Harris was not there, she said. She reached out to the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as well as the hotline set up by New Orleans officials for families seeking information about missing victims.
