Help Locate Missing Person

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

The missing person is Tramaine Harrison, a black male, 40 years old, from St. James Parish. It is unknown what his current clothing script is. The last known contact with Harrison occurred on October 3, 2019, around 8:00 p.m. Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on October 4, 2019, Harrison’s girlfriend contacted the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and informed deputies that after not being able to make contact with Harrison, she was driving back from his residence when she observed Harrison’s vehicle on top of the Hale Boggs Bridge. The girlfriend advised that due to the location of where Harrison’s vehicle was parked, and the fact that she was unable to get ahold of Harrison, she was in fear for his wellbeing.

The whereabouts of Harrison are currently unknown. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office would like anyone with information as to Harrison’s location, or anyone that may have witnessed a subject on the Hale Boggs Bridge during the night time hours of October 3rd-October 4th, please contact Detective Jennifer James at (985)783-1135 or (985)783-6807.

Confirmed deceased,

On October 6, 2019, Tramaine Harrison’s body was located in the Mississippi River in St. Bernard Parish.

The incident is still under investigation, although foul play is not suspected at this time.
