BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - Authorities are searching for a missing teenager who was last seen Friday.

Vernell Parker Jr., 19, suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - Despite the cold, a Baton Rouge mother has been on a desperate search for her 19-year-old son, Vernell Parker.

"This is the first time I have [not] seen my son for days," said Tasha Parker, mother of the missing teen.

It has been a week since the 19-year-old was last seen under a bridge near North Street.

The missing teen currently has no cell phone. According to his mother, all he does is stay home on his computer and listens to music.
