Yes one of the area codes didn't exist until 1984 and the attorney Ben Perkisn was disbarred in 1988... so very likely between those years, though no guarantees....I definitely believe it was written before she changed her name, but that is just my opinion

I did not realize this attorney was disbarred the same year she did the name change. Do you think there is any connection between these two events? Did she testify against him or something? Or, maybe he did the name change, or maybe he did something in the past for her and had her "records" and she was afraid something would be found out during the bar's investigation of him and wanted her records back from him? Do we know why he was disbarred? There was also the Jennifer Perkins listed on that same notes page. We never did find a connection between the attorney and Jennifer, did we?

I always have believed Jennifer Perkins is somehow related to Ben. The mention of Jackson under her name is a clue. Ben is from Vicksburg MS and it's less than an hour from Jackson MS. If you are familiar with Mississippi, you get that Vicksburg/ Jackson go hand in hand. The casinos are there and people go back and forth a lot . I think he had family in Biloxi area also. I am almost certain she was referring to Jackson MS. BEN had a daughter around FLEKs age who died young in LA. His family dynamic is VERY complicated, if you look at his family's social media. Some in LA, some in MS.. There for sure is more to the story and Ben owned a few companies too.

On the notes page, slightly off to the right and below "Jackson" is an H. Is it possible that this refers to Jackson Hole?

I thought that also at first. That "h" also looks like the symbol for hotel used in travel books. I really believe Jackson is a reference to Ben Perkins. He is from that area (close by)and he has family IN Jackson. He had a daughter that was around FLEKs age that died in LA.

Why should we assume that "Laciner" is a correct spelling? In writing a note from a telephone conversation, perhaps the other party to the call said something like "Lassiter" but she didn't know how to spell it correctly and she wrote "Laciner".

Sorry if this has been posted in here already but laciner is an anagram found in the names Lori Erica Kennedy. Also I could find the name Keri. Keri Laciner?

The other letters don't make much sense but she could have added letters to accomodate a previous name.

There is someone by the name of Al Laciner listed at 3146 Hudnall St in a Dallas city directory in 1979. This is also the exact address for Lori at some point later on as well.

I don't need a reply. I see what you mean now. Each letter of the name Al Laciner is found in the name of Lori Erica Kennedy. At first I was trying to find all the letters of Lori Erica Kennedy in Al Laciner, but it doesn't work that way. I did check on the name of Laciner and found it mentioned through out the United States.

I found a new possible Lancier to consider as the one FLEK wrote down. Michael J Lancier was president of Allied Telecomunications Equipment. There is not much about him online but he is mentioned in this 1979 newspaper article:

By the early 80's M. J. Lancier had moved to California. In 1981 he was in Santa Ana and in the 90's he lived in Garden Grove, CA. He died in 2007 in Garden Grove. Though there is very little info about him online I suspect FLEK wrote his name down in connection to all the phone companies she wrote on that same page. Perhaps she was trying to get a job at a phone company?

After much ancestry.com research/comparing the old phone books, I now think the "AL Laciner" at Hudnall in 1978 MAY possibly have been Al Rockne Leissner and the name was misspelled. I found several typos in these old phone books.

The Laciner who went to Massachusetts was Ayhan Laciner, and does not appear to have been in Texas in 78. He appears to have moved to TX from MA and the moved back later.
