I'm gonna eat some crow because I for sure thought he wasn't gonna make it

I didn't think he was going to make it either - I am pretty shocked to be honest. He pretty much cheated death.

No need to do that. From everything the media was reporting it sounded pretty bleak. I had my doubts too, and was finding it hard to hold on to some hope.

I hope this was a cry for help and he was not trying to kill himself. Maybe with this hospital stay it could be the beginning of him going clean. It sure would seen that someone in his position, (lots of love) would try and take advantage of what he could have. I do wish him a full recovery and hope he finds friends that live a clean life. jmo idk

I pray that this is the bottom for him. He needs competent treatment to sort out his pain from childhood and gain some real coping skills to deal with life's challenges without drugs. I know the pain and loss from losing my mother at a young age, along with my father's absence from alcoholism. It makes the rest of your life more difficult, but these things CAN be overcome, and life can be good and fulfilling. I'll continue to pray that Lamar comes all the way to mental and physical health.

It would be awesome if they could somehow repair the damage and move on from here together.

I am not sure that is going to happen. He needs a lot of counseling, treatment, active support. He needs ongoing medical and psychological treatment. JMO

Not judging. Just read the statistics on who the ladies are that do this kind of work, Sad sad sad.

And I absolutely despise the Johns. Makes no difference if you paid 75 k for a week or 75 bucks for a quickie in the car. You are just as disgusting.

Agreed completely. Hopefully he will have good counselors and doctors to help him realize this. If there's anyone he should be focused on beside himself it should be his children.

Im so happy he seems to have turned the corner.

Earlier a source close to the situation told CNN that Odom, 35, improved a "tiny bit" during his third night at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.

Odom "got a tiny bit better -- emphasis on tiny -- and he was responsive in the middle of the night for a moment," the source said. ( Some outlets are making his improvements much better then they really are, and some are making it more dire. Sometimes it is really hard to know what is true and what isn't in situations like this.)

I don't think he is out the woods yet. He is making progress, which is good.

I'm just disgusted at this brothel stating they are drug-free! Yeah right! What were they doing until 6am, definitely not bedtime stories! JMO.

Can you imagine waking up and both your ex-wives are standing next to your bed? That would be enough to give me another stroke. My first words would be "get my attorney, then my Doctor".

All 3 of my uncles ex wives were at his funeral.
In fact ex wife #3 found his body.
Just because they were divorced doesn't mean they weren't friends.
I would consider it a good thing that they are there actually.

If it were my ex husbands, yes. I want nothing to do with them. I think this situation is different though.

O/t my friend came over with a female friend. She talked about her ex and how he had cheated on her, She said she was upset that she did not see him before he died.

She said she was upset because she was not able to tell him off. Lol

So well said. I agree, this would be my prayer for Lamar as well.
