Lamar Odom fighting for life after overdosing at brothel

This is so very sad! Lamar has been on a self - destructive path for quite some time now. I also feel bad for Khloe. She truly loves him but sometimes addicts leave you no choice but to walk away.

I am saying prayers for Lamar and hope that his true condition is better than the sensational articles report. I wish him a full recovery.

kris Jenner is a co-producer with Seacrest. She made sure she was photographed at the hospital, IMO. I cannot post what I really think of every one of the Kardashians on here because I would be on a permanent T/O. The only one who seems grounded in an albeit small way is Kourtney. I feel sorry for her.

What do you want to bet if Lamar does pull through but is badly brain damaged the Kardashians will drop him like a hot potato?

Anyway, I wish the best for Lamar.

With so many drugs in his system, and track marks and alcohol, there is nothing anyone else could have done to prevent this. He was like an out of control train steaming down the tracks. No one could stop it but him at that point.

He was on a downward spiral for awhile now. It is very sad.

It's exactly the worst possible combination, and shows he was at the far end of the spectrum as far as his drug abuse goes. People always underestimate how terrible it is to combine alcohol and opiates, throw in a stimulant and the results are devastating.

His long term drug use will have damaged him internally also, this is a terrible outcome for such an amazing athlete and a sweet guy by all accounts.

Maybe he purchased it at the brothel or somebody saw him open a new bottle at the brothel and they counted out how many were left? But ya, there is no way to tell for sure.

Hof said Odom called him Saturday and told him he wanted to visit the brothel for a few days. Hof let him stay at his home, which is attached to the brothel.

"He was having a good time at the ranch and everything was great," Hof said, until Sunday, when Odom seemed "a bit somber" because people were "calling and bothering him."

Early Tuesday morning, "the girls" bid him a good night and at about 3:30 that afternoon, Hof said, two women went to check on him. "Two women at the brothel went to check on Odom and found him unconscious," he said. "They immediately call 911, and dispatch tells the girls to roll him over on his left side and (he) starts to puke. He was totally unconscious. The girls and staff rush him out on the ambulance. The police didn't find any illegal drugs on him."

He added, "To my knowledge, there were no drugs involved. Lamar was eating well and was just healthy."

TMZ is saying multiple strokes and is directly contradicting what Jesse Jackson just told the media:

Our sources say Lamar remains unconscious and unresponsive, which is in contrast to what Jesse Jackson just told the media.

Our sources inside the hospital say Jackson was allowed in for 3 minutes to pray with him, and that was it. The sources say Jackson is flat-out wrong about Lamar's condition.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson says Lamar Odom is on life support but that his doctors think he's improving. He says Odom was unresponsive Tuesday but "has some responsiveness now." Jackson added: "Apparently from what the doctor said, he was much better off today than yesterday."

He says Khloe Kardashian and some of Odom's childhood friends were by Odom's side, and former Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant visited him last night.

Jackson says Odom's loved ones are "just holding hands and hoping he can bounce back."

ET is hearing that Lamar Odom suffered a heart attack on Tuesday night and was placed into a medically induced coma.

A source close to Odom tells ET that Odom suffered some organ failure. While his condition has improved, our source says "it is still dire."
