And, let's be honest here, who would want a member of their family to be in a relationship with someone who is an addict? Who could sustain love under those circumstances? Why ? Sure you can care. But love that situation for yourself in terms of a love relationship? Why?

I'm stunned by most comments regardless of the story, and yes, there are some bad ones out there over this tragedy. Nobody, I'm going to guess would want a loved one married to a drug addict and a person who cheated. But I don't think it is right to use his problems for fodder for their TV show. Between the show, and the gossip sites, and other articles, it was watching a person going from worse to worse, and now fighting for his life. I was following it, and I only watched a few episodes of that show, but you go on online like TMZ and other places like that, you can't help but see the Kardashians, I'm actually stunned how people are fascinated with these people. I remember Lamar from basketball, and I feel terrible for his children.

TV is fake and stuff is done in ways to make it interesting and sensationalize it. Especially "reality"shows. Only the real life people know the truth of anything. We are only passive watchers of what is presented .

Especially now when you can read their tweets, see their instagrams or follow them on Facebook like friends do.
 
And who was responsible for the rumor that Lamar was upset over the way he was depicted on Sunday night's episode? Dennis Hof, that's who. A person many have opined can't be trusted, and is clearly trying to cover his azz. And where did Mr. Hof get the info? From one of his "employees"? Unless we hear from the person who made the alleged phone call I will take this story with a grain of salt.
 
I'm watching The Talk right now. They just said that Lamar did briefly flutter his eyes, and Kim thought he squeezed her hand. Also they are being told to keep talking to him, that he can hear them.
 
There is a link to a TMZ article posted here, and it says, we're told 4 organs, including his kidneys, continue to fail.
If organs are failing, and if he would improve, will those organs ever be the same again? I really don't know.

Agree 100% . I just dislike that she started dating someone is his basketball organization when she could have dated any other athlete outside of the nba.
 
I hope I'm not over posting the articles I'm reading. I think they are fascinating in their descriptions of who the real Lamar is. All of the reality star stuff brushes the most important aspects of the man under the carpet, imo.

Poor guy, it does sound like this pattern of behaviour with disappearing and drug taking has been in place for near 20 years however. While I do believe Khloe genuinely loved him, waiting longer to get married, and or, doing a bit of research into his past before walking down the aisle would have been a good idea. I don't think there is anything she could have done to really help him, nor do I think anything she did made his addiction worse. Just sad really.

I believe the TMZ link said Khloe. But Nancy O'Dell from ET was on The Talk, and she said Kim. I don't think it really matters who, the point is he squeezed someone's hand.

I'm glad to know that he can hear them. Hopefully that will bring him some comfort, and maybe even help him pull through, if that's even possible at this point.

Yea but at the same time that's like saying someone can't date another actor when a relationship with an actor doesn't work. Or that you can't date someone of the same work as your ex. I'm not quite sure what that has to do with anything.

Odom 'pleaded' with Khloe to stop recording his phone calls for her reality show, but she reportedly ignored his requests, saying he deserved the bad press for the way he treated her during their marriage.

'Khloe would either ignore the texts and voice mail messages asking her to stop, or she would tell him, "You owe me this after you humiliated me by cheating with other women,"' the source said.

This comes from an insider who told the Radar Online that they believe the Kardashians 'have blood on their hands' for 'demonizing and exploiting' Odom on their show.

'Lamar had no idea that he was going to be Khloe's storyline during the past season. She is always talking about how much she loves the guy, but has no problem exploiting Lamar for her gain. How low can Khloe go?' the source asked. 'Lamar would call her sobbing about losing his best friend this past summer, and the first thing she thinks is to document it?'

I can say this from a personal experience. My mom was dying. Basically dead. Nurses would lie to me and say she was coming around when in all reality she wasn't. Kidneys shut down. Heart shutting down (had a pacemaker with a defibrillator) and one day I was holding her hand and I told her "it's okay to go. I'll be fine. I love you." And I swear to all things above she squeezed my hand and her heart rate raised. I called the nurse and she said a lot of times when someone is close to death, their body reacts and causes some movement. An hour later.. My mom died. So while I think it's wonderful they have hope since he squeezed someone's hand.. With my personal experience of it, and what's been reported that has happened and what is shutting down.. I don't think he's gonna make it. And that breaks my heart.. Because outside of the drugs, Lamar Odom was an amazing guy with a soft heart.

And now I'm crying for him and his children. And for myself for reliving my moms death. Ugh. I really hope he gets his miracle.. But I just don't know.

I don't have a problem with it. It's not like she dated one of his teammates on the Laker's.
 
I wish this was about Lamar. I am ok with Khloe being there. I agree that she loves him.

I wish the media would stop with the Kardashian circus around him.
Let this man be.
