I always felt sorry for Armstrong. The medication he was taking probably has widespread use among among top athletes. Some get made examples of. This medication is intended to help raise the red blood cell count/oxygen carrying ability in renal disorders. But if you don't practice, keep yourself in world-class shape, and have some natural athletic ability, this drug is not going to make you a winner. I don't even know how much it would improve your blood counts if you were already in normal range.
