I can't even imagine being her right now. I have trouble enough sleeping when I think someone might have interpreted my words wrong over a relatively insignificant issue. But if she's a sociopath or has NPD, either of which she appears to be/have, she's sleeping like a baby. Normal people (or even those who have serious but different "issues") can't comprehend the world of a sociopath, no matter how many times someone tells you about it. I highly recommend the book "the socipath next door" for a very interesting read and as much possible enlightenment as a "normal" person can get on the subject.

That's a great book, wondering. For the NPD issue, the best I've read is "Why Is It Always About You?"

I agree Ms. Emma, IF he had an affair, that would be the least of their worries. Maybe the next couple weeks will be the 'unloading secrets' week. What a mess this family is. :banghead: moo

I think so. And I think some of the secrets will be shocking/amazing, etc. Luckily, it is hot here and I just today planned a week of easy meals as I anticipate a lot of computer time this week. MOO

I sure wouldn't want to be in Terrie Horman's position.
I'd be afraid to leave the house!
Can you imagine all the reporters and news trucks that are probably parked on her street?

:ashamed0005:

JUST WAIT UNTIL NANCY GRACE HAS A GO AT HER!

The pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together now. Poor Kyron.

All I can think about are the posts she made on the KATU website. She seems to be quite the liar and story teller.

Yes that is a good book, but an even better book is ,everything you ever wanted to know about shelbar53.

Can sociopaths love their own babies? I ask because TH sure seems to love hers (from the pictures of BabyK and her comments about them).

I think they can mimic love, and do so with great gusto. That may also be where the NPD comes in -- maybe I'm wrong, but I think the two can co-exist. The baby would BE her.

fwiw, and I'm so not trying to be dramatic or give TMPI, just to say I know of which I speak -- I was married to a person I believe to be a sociopath. He supposedly had a very abusive childhood and is 1000% committed to "appearing" to be the BEST dad possible. Does he FEEL it, no way. But he can sure SHOW it.

Me too. She likes game playing and could have made this be sort of darkly flirtatious.

Could be, and I'm wondering if she got her son out of the way intentionally - to keep him safe or because a kid that age sees a lot more than a younger child.

I'm concerned now that Terri had several months to find ways to kill Kaine and woke up one day and realized that it might be even more fun to torture Kaine first. How best to torture Kaine?

Make his beloved boy go poof.

And that really started to make sense when she realize how much control and information she had regarding Kyron's every moment, and how easily Kyron's death was a do-it-yourself one.

I wonder how she relished walking to the bus stop that day. I wonder if she watched his face when Kyron didn't get off the bus. I wonder if she smiled.

*shudder*

Ugh. Now I need a scotch and shower. This has been one rough day.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I was just sitting here thinking that out of this huge pile of, whatever, that think we are just now beginning to see the tip of, the one to suffer is wonderful, innocent Kyron.

I literally feel sick to my stomach. This type of stuff doesn't come out of nowhere. This was borne in whatever has been going on in that household. And he was in the middle of it. Left alone with her often, being disciplined by her.

I remember hearing her correct him in front of all his class mates while he gave his presentation on the bridge project, while she was taping. That bothered me a lot. I wonder how much pressure she put on him with these type of things to show everyone what a good parent and should be teacher she is. Barf.

I don't know what has happened to Kyron, but you can bet what has built up to this in that place has not been fun.

well the longer they sit on there butts the longer kyron sits out there somewhere, live or dead, and isnt brought home. i dont sense a real urgency for LE to find him one way or another

IMO, the problem is that TH has been given too much of the "benefit of the doubt" regarding her claims about where she was when K went missing. As far as I'm concerned, either she can account for her time that day or she can't. No two ways about it.

Now we have this new info today regarding a so-called "lawn man" who TH solicited to put out a hit on her husband. And this "lawn man" (who was supposedly wearing a wire) & the undercover cop couldn't manage to get her to admit to it when they met with her because TH (according to media reports) "cut the conversation short".

So I guess what they're saying is that TH "made" the undercover cop & smelled a sting? Mmm-kay then. All I can say then is that somebody screwed up royally if TH (criminal mastermind that she's alleged to be lol) outwitted a so-called trained investigator.

And to think I was beginning to have faith in this investigation.

I don't know about this story, or what to make of it. As many have said, this would have been winter season when it has been allleged to occur. Also, if the first murder-for-hire says no. Does the perp give up? NO! They go and try to find another person to do the job. I would be more apt to believe this story if the landscaper would have gone to the police. I know I certainly would. Then they would have told him to go back to her and say yes - miked up and all. If he had (and if this story is true) Kryon would be with us today :(

All my opinion only.

I think Nancy Grace is an abomination and have never watched her show. I've just read about her, and watched the YouTube replay of her appalling "interview" with Elizabeth Smart (somebody must have physically restrained Ed Smart, who was watching from the wings, or Nancy wouldn't still be alive). If anyone deserves to have Nancy Grace "have a go at" them, it's Terri. But I still won't watch.

Yeah, I'm not a fan.

No investigator, no matter how well-trained, can reliably control the perceptions and behavior of a criminal. And they may have gotten plenty of useful information out of that recorded encounter, even though they apparently didn't get her to explicitly admit anything. Why would she even be willing to meet with her "lawn guy" in the middle of the search for her missing stepson? If the lawn was due for a mowing, wouldn't a simple phone call do the trick?

It's a shame that Terri was left in charge of Kyron if there were serious problems at home. I think a person who might harm a child would have been showing some sort of red flags especially if cheating was going on. Rejection is usally a big motive for murdering husbands on all the crime shows. Either that or money. Terri's comments on FB made me think that she really wasn't enjoying her baby, that there might be a marriage problem, and Kaine's comments about "actively" working with Kyron made me think there had been problems or disagreements about him. Such a shame.

Maybe he just drove up to the house and knocked on the door!

Another sociopathic thought.

If you cozy up to the landscaper and decide he might be the one, and ask him to kill your husband, and he says, no thank you. Well then. I think you're done. Because someone knows that you want to and, in fact, asked them to kill your husband. And when you husband shows up murdered, or, disappeared - this landscaper who said "no thank you", will remember your conversation.

So...I would think, that plan had to be put on hold as it failed at the "no thank you" stage. (I know some think LE is looking for Terry to keep trying to hire someone, but ...)

So what can Terry do if she can't kill Kaine?

Tell me about it. Men can be so blind to this stuff, though. (Spokin in Kaine's defense.) But...I just don't know. These can be signs of being tired or anxious or depressed... And many sociopaths don't even know how they feel. They are empty shells and they live life on the cues of others - they respond and act the way they think YOU want them to... Tough call...

Some guys should chime in here... How often do you feel you completely miss - or simply dismiss - emotional signals from close family members? Be honest, now. ;)

BBM

Which was why, IMO, it was a completely reckless move by LE. In the middle of the search for her stepson.

ETA: It would be interesting to know who authorized the OP to try to set up a sting wherein the "lawn guy" wore a wire & the the "undercover LE" tried to get TH to admit to hiring a "hit man" to kill KH (not that there's a snowball's chance in Hades of that info being released). I mean, for crying out loud - did they really think this far into the investigation of K being missing that TH was going to follow through with her alleged previous plans to off KH, when LE is watching her every move?!

It really makes me wonder who's been watching to much CSI - TH or LE?!
