For what it's worth...I'd imagine Terri must have been a lot closer to the landscaper than just a hired employee in order to approach him with such a task.

Yes, and maybe Kyron found out about it. Or he found out something about Terri's plan to get of Kaine.

I wonder if this landscaper lives on Sauvie Island?

I don't know if I believe the landscaper.

When the story first broke about Kyron missing, why didn't he come forward at that time with this story -- any person with a conscious would have gone to authorities with this seven months ago and LE would have wired him up for a sting in this matter.

I can't imagine going home after work and telling significant other -- oh, by the way, so in so asked me to get rid of their spouse.

I think this person just wants to be in the limelight and now it will become a matter of he said, she said. We will never know the truth and since TH under the microscope, things don't look good in her direction.

MOO

The landscaper didn't go to the investigators at all. They went to him. It sounds like he might not have intended to come forward at all.

Well, let's see. First of all, I imagine this man is not the "landscaper". I imagine he is a lover and his presence at the house was explained that way - Terri "hired" him without consulting Kaine. I don't think he was mowing just the lawn, if you get my drift. You don't approach your landscaper to do murder for hire - you approach your lover. That also explains why this "landscaper" did not report her to the police.

My guess is that Kyron knew something he was not supposed to know about this "landscaper" and that is why he had to go. The question now is, Did the landscaper help Terri do away with Kyron?

MOO and all that.

Interesting!

"Terri Horman retained prominent criminal defense lawyer Stephen Houze on Wednesday. Repeated attempts to reach Houze, who was on the East Coast, were unsuccessful."

What timing! Terri's lawyer is out of town and cannot be reached for comment (when the biggest story yet breaks)?

I hope she has his cellphone number, she's going to need it.

Apparently investigators are no longer allowed to speak to Terri directly, and now must go only through her attorney (according to this link: http://www.kptv.com/news/24124386/detail.html). Sorry, but I really hope this little move doesn't slow down the investigation.

I would be curious to know what kind of insurance poilicies were purchased for Kaine and Horman.

Local Fox12 is quoting the Oregonian as source for the story. They contacted Mult. Co Sheriff and did not get confirmation..

Has his name been released to the media yet?

Wow! Finally a real bombshell!
I pray that this somehow leads them to Kyron.

Well, I have not read the whole thread yet, but the timing co-incides with the charges against KH's brother. What if TH figured out something about her own son as a victim which is why she sent him away? With Kyron....she would have no authority to decide to send him away, but if she were desperate to protect him from a person or persons who she knew were hurting him....she MIGHT have done something drastic to get him out of there.

I haven't seen his name, yet. I've only been awake for about 10 minutes though. I wouldn't be surprised to see this landscaper arrested along with Terri. I wonder how much he knew about Kyron and if he helped Terri do whatever she did, or was an accessory after the fact.

Not accusing the man, just wondering.

I could be wrong but I thought the Oregonian was let back in...JMO
They were. The article states that the O interviewed the landscaper last week. I think that's why The O was initially ousted. They probably apologized and came to some kind of agreement with KH on how they would proceed in the future, so they were granted admission to the second part of the meeting. MOO...MOO

The brother was charged back in 2008. He just went to prison for awhile, so I can't see Kyron needing protection from him. He's in jail.

That's what I was thinking, too, Poppy. If they didn't have any sort of significant evidence of this plot -- just the guy's say-so -- then I believe he must've taken and passed a LDT in order for LE to consider him credible enough to tell Kaine of the plot AND to advise him to take the baby and get the heck out of the house. Chilling!

I firmly believe that LE had this guy take a LDT before they would even think of doing a recorded call with he and Terry.

What if this guy did not go to LE, but LE retrieved his cell or landline number from Terri's cell phone records? We do not know that this guy just came to LE a week ago or LE went to him for some reason.

WHY on earth would this guy wait to go to LE? Man! I just do not know anymore.

I think that someone is leaking a little information at a time. I think this person did come forward when he learned Kyron was missing. Perhaps he didn't hear right away that Kyron was missing (some people don't watch the news). The affair with Terri was over so he had nothing to lose. This has all been kept under wraps by LE and they advised KH to get out. Since the murder for hire plot could not be carried out and TH son' was sent back to his bio-dad, TH was really mad at Kaine. Taking Kyron was her way to get even. Here she was, strapped with 2 kids, school projects and her body wasn't what it used to be. She was feeling old and useless. Even her affair ended. She was ready to move on and get a new life. No husband, money, one baby girl and Kyron would go back to his bio-mom. How convenient!

Terri's first husband said she cheated on him.

Well, from the body language TH exhibited during the first PC, I thought she looked like a terrified woman. In particular, (to me), were her leaning her head on KH and DY. With DY, it looked like she was trying to comfort her. When she did it with her husband, she stole glances up at him, which looked fearful.

Not knowing these people, I feel almost mean saying this, but my first impression from that video was that KH was completely indifferent toward his wife. I got the distinct feeling that he simply does not love her and she seemed afraid. However, considering the circumstances, this may be completely normal.

While I expected that LE had found out something terrible that had prompted KH to file for immediate divorce and a RO, this turn of events is astounding. Again however, it opens another whole can of worms. Typically, women do such things when the relationship is abusive (seeking revenge), when they are having an affair or when they are looking for financial gain. I wonder what will come out next.

I just keep thinking about the fact that TH raised Kyron from infancy. Looking at some of her pictures and captions, she appeared to be very proud of him. It's so hard to reconcile that image with her having killed the little boy. Then again, CA's pictures of Caylee made her appear the doting and loving mother. So who knows what is in someone's heart and mind when they do the unthinkable.

Sorry but she could quite simply have told Desiree who would have been more than willing to take him I am sure.

For the record I dont think J is anything to do with the reason why she supposedly has done this.

They were not let back in....they stood with the group to view the pool feed from the one camera crew allowed to film the family statement read by DY. All crews were outside the building at that time. Whether they were allowed to or just joined the group on their own has not been confirmed other than the assumed thought of the WW reporter.
