Oh man - took the Boy Child to the park for a bit and I come back to find 6 more pages of thread.

Can we all agree to take our RL Breaks at the same time, hm?

I concur. I am going to ride my bike for a couple hours, so could everyone refrain from posting until I return? TIA

Could this mean the gardner responded through the questionaire sent out by LE? It sounds like he came forward because he had to not legally lie on some form of questioning.

Another A-HA! Thanks.

Also suggests that the survey questionnaire was well-distributed. Suggests also that more info was gleaned from the surveys/interviews.

I don't believe for one minute this wasn't 'leaked' by LE.

And how Kaine can think that the whole community should care and be involved in looking for his son and not pay any attention to the family that son lived with is just, just..... darn, what is the word I am looking for here. Delusional?

Absolutely and absolutely. This is all part of the investigation geared toward locating Kyron and finding justice for him.

And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, this is the largest newspaper in Oregon we're talking about here not a trashy tabloid. They have a working relationship with LE that existed long before Kyron's disappearance and will have to continue long after. I don't believe for half a second that they would print this info were it not an approved leak by LE. And LE said 'no comment' because they wanted it to be a leak -- if they were ready to directly announce it, they would have done that in the first place. And this is pretty common for LE working in partnership with the press, IMO.

And hopefully it's ok to harp on this for just a bit longer but - since it's Independence Day - I just have to say that our free press is one of the key factors that differentiates us from nations like China, North Korea and Iran where censorship runs rampant and freedoms and justice are relatively scarce.

What a shock, though, about SM. I certainly didn't see that one coming. I fear more than ever for that sweet little trusting boy. I'm still hoping against hope that somehow he still alive even though that goes against logic at this point.

And hope everyone at WS will try and have a Happy 4th in spite of this news.

This is off topic but I have to tell you, it won't work any more. I am onto you, Emma Peel! When I see your name above a short post, I set down my soda before reading.

I WUVS your sense of humour!

I do the same. Learned it the hard way.

What does this mean? What exactly was he expecting to get? A down payment? Money to keep quiet about the offer? A load of soil?

Wouldn't it be him leading Terri on if he had no intention to carry out the deed but went along with some kind of payment scheme anyway?

Weird. Could have been a twisted way to flirt. Sort of skirting around a drawn-out chat about violence.
Having a secret conversation in real life. Off-line. (imho) We do know she likes *game-playing*

We are not going there with her pics........ her FB is private! :nono:

I don't know if you are responding to me, but I wasn't asking about pics. I was asking if she helped with the project. I still want to know if the Landscaper worked at the school. This is not because I am interested in his private life--I have been looking for some time for someone who works at the school who could have assisted TH. This could be the person.

Weird...he had no intention of carrying out the plot but was "expecting something" and "she led him on."

I don't get that...

I just read that to mean she led him to expect an attractive payment IF he agreed to do this, and encouraged him to take her up on the offer.

crap crap crap - I was really pulling that she wasn't the one behind Kyron's disappearance - unless this is one helluva coincidence (and pigs fly too) I just can't imagine how it's anyone BUT Terri that is behind Kryon disappearing into thin air. (I still though, don't think she pulled it off alone)

I have to read through and catch up - but man oh man, what an announcement.

As strange as this case is, could it be that LE gave this "leak" the go ahead?

SBM

I had assumed that this was an unofficial but tacitly approved leaks by LE. As tightly controlled as information has been in this case, it would actually be more surprising to me if it were an completely unexpected and unapproved leak.

After all, it isn't like this information is a surprise to TMH; it was no doubt in the TRO, which she had access to.

What this does is crank up the pressure on TMH even more. If this allegation is true, she's got to be feeling incredibly paranoid right now.

If this allegation is false, well, she has to be feeling like she has been dropped into some alternative reality.

Either way, the pressure on her is mounting up.

You and I seem to be thinking on the same lines. I appreciate you pointing out that TH is not a hands on murderer. It could very well be she passed him on to someone else. Kyron could be alive. Below is my earlier post:

My opinion is that Kaine seems to be a husband that his wives know is going to take the children, maybe out of love or maybe for spite. It seems if both wives were so worried about that at one time, then Kaine must throw around the threat - "I'm going to take the kids and there's nothing you can do about it!"

I agree it's no reason for Terri to plan a murder, but maybe it didn't start out as a motive for money, but spite. Was she capable of placing Kyron in harm's way? There's no real logic to get rid of Kyron in a devious fashion...is there?

Kaine generates all the income in this family. If Kaine “accidently died”, Terri would collect on his life insurance. She could pay any helpers required for Kaine’s “accidental death” with his life insurance funds. If Terri paid someone to help her dispose of Kyron, she would have to explain to her husband and LE the withdrawal of significant amounts of money from their accounts around the time of Kyron’s disappearance. It makes more sense that Terri killed Kyron in retaliation for something that Kaine did/didn’t do that severely angered her.

This is the last time I'm going to say this.

Trying to connect this landscaper to the school project is sleuthing him. So you can stop now.

Landscaper was wired and had LE person with him/her?? -- they just wanted to tape her saying she wanted the deed done -- it was an attempted sting.

Remember the other case that was just on the news a few months back -- all the tears -- but hubby was still alive!!!!!

If I was Kaine I might want it leaked too. On the off-chance that there is some other hitman out to get me and he decides to call it quits because of the publicity and the risk of getting caught because they're already on to Terri.

I think you're on to something. I remember reading an article that struck me about how it described the number of responses they got, and from whom. It specifically referenced people who were present at the school for other reasons. Can't recall the exact wording -- maybe deliveries and/or contractors. Maybe it was from the WW giving us another head's up lol

I'll see if I can find the link

Perhaps the gardner was at the school for his own children or some work he did there and had to fill out the questionaire truthfully?

My point on the subject was why is the Oregonian protecting his identity. I feel they should release his name and photo in case anyone saw him the day Kyron disappeared.

His part of undercover work is done. The cat is out of the bag.

Haven't scrolled to the end of this thread yet, but I bet that will be the next news flash.

BBM....IMHO..IF anyone cared anything at all about Kyron's well - being they wouldn't have him in their possession..JMO

It's not inconceivable to me that whoever took Kyron never had any intention of hurting him and may have felt they were protecting him from something. That's just my opinion.
