Interesting. I hadn't thought of her suing the school because of Kyron's disappearance. She would have known that the school had no security cameras and all the ins and outs of that school since she did work there (volunteering, I think). The 'alleged' doctors note and telling the teacher about the 'appointment' would fit in to building a case against the school. JMO

I agree...this is a fabulous theory, actually. I don't want to believe it, because it would likely mean Kyron was no longer with us; but, she would certainly get a bundle of money if she won they case -- and it would be all hers if Kaine were no longer in the picture.

The guy who does our yard once in a while is just the kind of guy I would think of, if I ever required the services of a hit man...he is an oddball, fifty-something, lives with mom, and makes allusions to having a past, whatever that means...but he likes my husband, so I'd probably be the target :(

So there you go - a lesson for today. It's always best to be the one in any given relationship with the oddballs on your side.

Done and done.

So how does this help LE find Kyron? Did it help them pinpoint where there might be a reasonable doubt about TH? How do you think this has assisted in the investigation?

I am sure she blames Kaine for having to hire the guy to mow the lawn. Evidently Kaine was not mowing the grass at home.

What, SHE can't push a freaking lawnmower or use a weedeater? Please!

Oh man. I shudder to think what some of the thread titles might be if my family were embroiled in something like this.

Report: Mom Force Fed Ducky Cabbage at least 5 Times a Week!

I hear you. Mine might go something like...

Report: Crazed Mom Chases Toddler Through House With Fork!!!

(...Full of Green Beans in Desperate Attempt To Get Veggies Into World's Most Finicky Eater!)

Perhaps LE is hoping that, if TH knows they have a murder for hire against her already, she will be more likely to tell the story about Kyron. The "they can only hang me once" scenario. If she's already in enough hot water, she may give up the whole story.

I wonder if an error could have been made. Did the family eat breakfast together that morning? Perhaps Kyron got the wrong plate? Just thinking in type. Feel free to ignore me.

Certainly asking your lawn mower guy to kill your husband is a violation of probation!

Or, at the very least, strongly frowned upon. LOL.

I personally think she is going to have a boatload of charges coming down the road at her in the very near future and if there is anything left HUMAN in her at all, she should tell where Kyron is RIGHT NOW.

I was thinking that too, or a bottle of water.

I wonder if she will talk with all this pressure being placed on her. She has lawyered up now so I doubt it. But this is scary to me.

I hope Law Enforcement has lots more than this. And I hope what they have will lead them to Kyron. This little boy if he is alive must be so terrified. I can't in my wildest dreams imagine hurting a child. I ran over a bird one time with my car and cried for hours. I can't fathom hurting a child, or selling or giving a child away.

Anyone think those orders at the jail make lots of sense now?

And like a lot of guys, probably wasn't vacuuming the carpet either. Wonder if she hired any other handymen.

Seriously, I would love to know exactly how LE became aware of this guy and what Terri's story was for their acquaintance vs. lawnguy's story.

If anything, I'm less hopeful now Kyron will be found alive..
IMHO...If she is capable of standing on a stage at a press conference hanging on to her husband who we now know she wants dead because she claims he hurt her, she is capable of anything...IMHO..Also pretending to console the real mother of a child she , herself, may have harmed indicates to me she may be lacking a conscience....JMO

BBM. I have felt very sad for Kyron for the past several days and have a strong sense that this saga will not have a happy ending.

There was something about Terri's demeanor at the press conference that was very off-putting to me. She rubbed about against Kaine in a manner that appeared quite sensual to me and rather inappropriate under the circumstances. In retrospect and given what I now know about the situation, her body language may have suggested a serious effort to appear as if the two were close when, in all likelihood, they were not. jmo

1. No this does not help them find where Kyron is located. JMHO.

2. I'm not sure how this could help pinpoint reasonable doubt about TH's involvement with Kyron's disappearance GrandmaJ, if anything I think (JMHO) that it lessons reasonable doubt about her not being involved.

3. It hasn't as of yet. Or it could have and we just don't know. But IMHO, this could be used as a bargaining chip if charges are brought forth against TH in the future for this alleged crime. Meaning, TH might be able to finagle some sort of deal prior to Kyron being found. If she's smart she will do that, eventually if Kryon is found, she will lost that chip to bargain with...JMHO. Of course, she will have to wait until enough time has passed that a COD can't be established for Kyron. But then again, she might take her chances because if COD is established her previous bargaining can go out the window. FWIW, what I'm trying to say is if she waits long enough, she could claim accident and she panicked, but if Kyron speaks otherwise to a ME, then she loses. Interesting to ponder out. I'll have to think on this more.

(I know you are trying to steer us back on topic, just wanted to respond to your questions :))

Law-enforcement sources have told WW the investigation into Kyron’s disappearance has increasingly focused on Horman. When I visited, she told us investigators have asked her not to discuss the case with the media. She also declined to talk about her reaction to Kyron’s disappearance or details about her family.

That left us with small talk. I complimented her on the family’s hilly one-acre yard, asking whether the family might be planning to make a large unmowed patch at the center into a garden. She said no, and commented on the difficulties of keeping up the property.

Wonder if the reporter already knew the info on the lawn-boy and was trying to get TH to talk about him without the reporter directly asking her? So he makes a comment about mowing grass/garden to open the subject up.

I fear that this madness is just more dysfunctional flotsam that only muddies the waters and makes it less likely for Terri to confess. I think she knows, or feels, as many of us do, that this case is resting on what she says or does not say, and that LE will be hard-pressed to proceed with a case against her involving Kyron if she covrered her tracks well and keeps mum.

I have noticed that the WW is not reporting any of this. Any idea why? And who the source then is? I have an idea but I am afraid of crossing a line here.

I hope the focus gets back on Kyron very soon. They way this thing has been going, it looks like it could turn into a real ugly and public family feud. Some of the first volleys have been shot in TH's direction. It will be interesting to see what (if anything) comes back in the other direction. Next couple of days should be very interesting. I still sense a lot of smoke and mirrors here. Just can't quite figure out where it's all coming from.

Holy cow. I was just checking in over the weekend and found this. Can this case get any weirder?

My theory, which I am sure has been discussed: Kaine wanted to leave her and take the baby, so she thought having him bumped off would solve the problem. That plan didn't work, so she did something to Kyron.

What an evil, evil person. Poor Kyron, poor Baby K, poor Desiree and poor Kaine.
