CA LASD list of seventeen at risk missing after Los Angeles wildfires, Altadena and Pacific Palisades, Jan 2025

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner (DME) has announced that Jeffrey James Takeyama, who had been reported missing, is a casualty of the Palisades Fire.
Yeah, Jeffrey has been on the deceased lists I've been following for a few days now.

It's been quiet the last few days, I don't know if the remaining few are proving challenging for them. If a fire burns hot enough, it's like a cremation. The bones essentially are purified of organics and turn to pure calcium and become very brittle.

They can guess that a set of remains might be a certain person based on where they are found, but that's not enough for formal identification.

Roosevelt is one of our patrons.
Damn, I've been thinking of him.
A Veteran.
He came in weekly for DVD's.
I've been following multiple news sites and the LASD Facebook, and there have been no new identifications announced for a few days, now.

We know they have more remains than names that are public. I think they're struggling with some of these IDs. Fires are really hard for that. I know there are remains from the Camp Fire still going through the DNA Doe Project.

I hope Roosevelt is okay. I know there were a couple of people found who were evacuated or away from home, but were okay, just out of touch with family. It's really hard when it's a whole community displaced, you can't just ask around the way you would if you hadn't seen someone in a while.

I so appreciate you keeping track of this.
I will update with our status after camps close today.

I looked through the comments of the Facebook pages of LASD’s missing people from the Eaton and Palisades Fires so here is what I found so far.

Martha Ann Howard, Delores Ann Jenkins, Roosevelt Pullem, and Theresa Warrior have all fortunately been found and located, so they’re still alive.

Unfortunately both Stacey Elizabeth Darden’s and Patricia Diann McKenna remains were discovered in their home so all 17 victims of the Eaton Fire are identified now, so here’s the list.

Oswald Gerhard Altmetz, 75

Carolyn Ann Burns, 56

Edwin Cridland, 94

Dalyce Curry, 95

Stacey Elizabeth Darden, 54

Miva Wheatley Friedli, 86

Erliene Louise Kelley, 83

Barbara Lewis, 84

Evelyn McClendon, 59

Patricia Diann McKenna, 77

Anthony Mitchell, 68

Justin Mitchell, 35

Rodney Kent Nickerson, 82

Victor Shaw, 66

Lora Swayne, 71

Kimberly Winiecki, 77

Zhi Feng Zhao, 84

Unfortunately Stacey Elizabeth Darden’s remains were discovered in her home so she’s gone, and based on how there’s a body at the 500 block of Punahou street and how Patricia Diann McKenna is the only missing person as of now who lived at that area. I don’t think that she made it out alive unfortunately.
Would you be able to link to the information? I know one user in particular on here knows Roosevelt personally, and would like to know that he's okay if that's the case.

Anyone who can supply VERIFIED reports about the status of individuals on the at risk missing list, please link them here. Facebook comments by random individuals that people are living or deceased because they heard it from someone are not enough.

Roosevelt is certain to have survived, because he was interviewed on MSM.

The current list of at risk missing, removing Roosevelt, who has been interviewed on MSM, and adding Kevin Coello-Hernandez.

Johnnie Mildred DOWNS, 82, Altadena (Eaton)

Thank you.

For the rules of Websleuths, official sources or mainstream media are what are needed, so the list is going to stay the way it is, with the exception of Roosevelt. None of the others have been listed as found or located or identified by LASD or the coroner, or been included in a list of the dead or identified as living by mainstream media.

Here are official sources including Stacey Darden’s memorial by her sister and Patricia McKenna’s medical death case

Thank you, those are good enough. I'd looked for obituaries myself and come up empty. I'll rework the list.
