They cancelled last Sunday's vigil, possibly due to the HOAs *suggestion* that they not hold it because of all the problems -- but unless it wasn't publicized that only applied only to last Sunday.

People may not know what's in the 'haters' hearts .

The Attorney for the HOA, (prior to adding the Anthony's to the complaint---not that the neighborhood is fed up) asked the Anthony family to either "suspend" the vigil or in the alternative, to simply MOVE IT.

There was no need to cancel it at anyone's request. It could have been moved to the back yard or down the street, as suggested by, and at the request of the HOA.

The decision to cancel was unilaterally the Anthony's.

I am confused by the term "hater's hearts."

Does that refer to people who carry signs to protest a child murderer's silence, or does it refer to the actual alleged murderer herself???

I could care a less if they have one or not. They cancelled last week, victim victim victim!! Then they have one this week.......playing the victims again!....its all about damage control. I could care a less about what this family does now! I can see right through it, ........its not going to bring Caylee back. Period!

The document dump shed a lot of light on the agony these people have been contending with. If you ask me, I don't think they care about damage control at this point. I think they've just hit the wall. Cindy looks thinner and wearier, and George is a broken man, unwilling to fight the contempt anymore.

Their behavior has been irrational and misguided at times, but they are indeed victims.

I for one am glad the vigil was mostly peaceful. NO doubt the neighborhood is calmer since the CAMS have scaled back. And you can bet your sweet bippy that that had EVERYTHING to do with reducing the "protester" drama...

I think many people are demanding too much from them... THEY are the ones with a missing granddaughter, but since they don't react like someone else does, they are villified in the media and the public.

I disagree. They are vilified because they've lied/misled law enforcement, they're protecting someone that's admitted misleading police in the search for Caylee, and/or continue to mislead the public. Certainly not heroic, and certainly not any way to garner support.

My favorite part of Cindy's interview is when they confront her about lying to the media and when she realizes she can't rationalize with them, she goes immediately for the "My granddaughter is missing!" card. I'm not saying she's not hurting, but rather than apologize for lying about law enforcement to the media she would rather blame her stress for her lies. Who does that sound like?

IMO NO. They have berated and screamed at people who were trying to help. The tried to send the police in wrong directions. Cindy is still out there claiming that Jesse Grund has the child even tho the police have thoroughly checked him out.

They need to stop and look at the truth in the matter. Casey has never claimed that Jesse G took that childe. She has stuck to thne invisib le nanny story - to the point that she has claimed to sleep over at the nanny's but doesn't know where the nanny lived. Their daughter has stolen money from everyone she could, including her mother, yet they continue to protect her. They don't allow anyone at the vigils who think that Casey might have been involved. This is NOT a prayer vigil for Caylee - it's a prayer vigil for CASEY.

Cindy KNOWS what a liar her daughter is. EVERYONE knows what a liar her daughter is, yet Cindy claims her daughter is innocent. No mother who has "lost" a child parties like Casey did and would today aif she could.
She's an adult. Let her stand on her own two feet for once in her life,

Surely the number of additional vehicles belonging to those prayer vigil attendees have made the street virtually impassable. HOA, make the Anthonys follow the rules. They lay down rules that no one can follow - they refuse to give searchers any of Caylee's clothes for dog tracking. This is helping to find Caylee? NIO!!!!!! This is protecting CASEY. It's pretty obvious where their hearts lie and it's not with an innocent missing child. They'd rather protect a useless partying daughter. That's what makes them so disgusting.

The police were not misled by them. During Cindy's interview it is obvious those dets. saw what she was doing...they know the conflict Cindy was dealing with probably because they see denial like this frequently and they GET it. There was no malice intended and they did not charge her with obstruction, as an accomplice or anything else.

And fwiw, LE does consider the A family to be victims.

It was the Anthony family's weekly vigil, which had been canceled last week after scuffles between family members and protesters. Bathed in lights from television cameras, neighbors accepted candles from Cindy Anthony, the girl's grandmother.

They sang, prayed and asked God to help the Anthony family endure hostility from others and the sadness of not knowing Caylee's whereabouts. The toddler has been missing since June and her mother, Casey Anthony, is a person of interest in the case.

"We know you are out there somewhere. Caylee, wherever you are, we promise you will be back in our arms real soon," Cindy Anthony said.

A handful of protesters held signs across the street and taunted the supporters.

"She's dead, Cindy, give her justice," one shouted.

The protesters also called for Casey Anthony, 22, to emerge from the house. But there was no sign of her during the 45-minute gathering.

The child's grandfather pledged to keep the peace from now on.

"I will not lash out at them anymore; I'm done with that," said George Anthony. "I will tell them over there, 'God bless you.' "

It's not at all what I think, it's the way the law reads.

If the A's wanted to hold this vigil in the street on public property, I don't think their HOA can do anything about that.

I don't believe it should have ever been such an obstacle with them holding vigils in their yard/home, but evidently HOA's rules do. They were asked to stop and they didn't. That's the point.

The protesters weren't told to stop. They were told to tone it down and abide by the law. For the most part, it's been quiet so I'm guessing they did just that.

I'm actually impressed with their new attitude and personally feel this will get them more helpful and heartfelt prayers than bashing and hammering at the public.

For every action there is a reaction. It appears that the public is looking onto them for the first lead. Their actions will dictate the public's reactions.

This is the part that people are totally fed up with. No prayers that Casey will do the right thing? That they will find the wisdom and strength to quit enabling her evil behavior? How can someone be expected to have sympathy for them not knowing where Caylee is when they are housing and protecting the only person who knows? This is beyond ridiculous. I personally don't care if they hold these vigils 24/7 but don't expect people to not recognize and discuss the hypocrisy of it and how they seem intent on ignoring the monster within their own walls. To pray for protection from others' hostility while Caylee obviously wasn't protected from her own mother? ...sorry, people aren't going to join in drinking the koolaid and ignoring the real villian. Not one protester or "hater" did one thing to harm Caylee, but we can not be so sure about the person they continue to make excuses for. Dead squirrels, invisible nannies and God knows what else...GMAB...wake up people...this is sickening. :furious:
