I meant more... they mentioned 3 witnesses... but is that *all* the witnesses to be called today??

It does seem like that. After all it's Friday you know. ;)

And don't forget that there is no court on Monday for anyone who might have been planning to go.

I guess at the time of the first search, police weren't looking for anything relating to LB at all. It seems that SL's publicity about LB's disappearance didn't hit the news until later than May 13th:

This article written May 18, 2013:
"But as the story of an Ancaster man’s death played out over the last two weeks, Mr. Lerner noticed a familiar name.

Dellen Millard was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Timothy Bosma, whose charred remains were found on Mr. Millard’s farmland outside Waterloo, Ont.

After reading the news, Mr. Lerner says he and his ex-girlfriend’s family reiterated to police that Dellen Millard was the last call on record with the missing woman’s phone — causing police to revisit the case.

Sgt. Stephen Woodhouse — who was the lead detective in the search for Laura Babcock last year — was informed earlier this week that Hamilton and Toronto police were looking into the stagnant case.

Sgt. Woodhouse said police are investigating leads that suggest Ms. Babcock was in contact with Dellen Millard shortly before her disappearance."

He was taken into custody May 22, 2013. First search done at May 13, 2013..... but you're right.. I was thinking the search was way earlier... but forgot that no searching for LB had really been done at all until TB came to light.

First search was done on May 22, the day he was taken into custody. There was no search on May 13th. I think it's just confusing the way they tweet it. May 13 means May 2013.

I am just not surprised, so damn cocky/dumb/combination these 2 were. Knew we would have these moments coming. Laura likely messaged a lot on the IPAD. Sure they got lots of info from it as well. They took pics of the Eliminator and tarp, would not be surprised to see even more damaging pics they took.

I'm just curious..can jury discuss amongst themselves what they might know about the Bosma murder conviction?

I mean, if by chance someone on the jury didn't know about it, I can see them asking why the Hamilton police were searching the Oakville home 7 months before the Toronto police seized that bag...

I don't believe the jury is allowed to discuss anything brought up in the trial until they are sent to deliberate.

Didn't MM whine that DM promised the iPad to her? Yet it was converted to MS before 11:00 am the next day. Was she there then?
They remind me of a pack of wild animals ravaging the spoils after a kill.

Yes he did. DM was the King, and even though MS has possession, this mission was DM's. And he used lending as a tool to keep his minions on a leash. We saw this behaviour in the TB trial. IMO

Not sure what that is all about other than the fact that DM is seen in a photograph with a red clamshell suitcase that was probably on his hard drive. Not sure why he wanted to get that in as an evidence picture. Maybe he just wants the jury to know how rich he was and he's trying to show it off. IOW, why would someone with their own helicoptor risk killing someone? That's my only guess as to why he is entering that picture as evidence and not the Crown. Obviously it's not the same suitcase as the one found at Smich's home.

:waitasec:

MOO

He may have thought they had some mistaken evidence and he planned to trip them up on it. OOPS! Another answer he didn't know before asking the question.

They counted the cans, but didn't bother to record the name tag on the bag?

Thank goodness for the LE officer that recorded the "AMBITION" tattoo.

Could have been the other's guy's bag and paint cans.

:dunno:

Doesn't necessarily mean its the same bag.

Honestly he probably kept it because it was Roots, and probably nice and he wanted it. Dumb doesnt even being to describe.

Was it ever mentioned what MS had painted? Not location, but actual content of the "artwork"?

Are MSs clothes all second hand or stolen, or how is it they don't have price tags hanging off them?

But can they discuss known prior convictions when they are in deliberation? Even if they cannot use that knowledge to sway their decision?

I guess I can just wait for instructions to the jury though :P

I keep thinking about those 2 photos. They were taken on DM's phone. The dog with the tarp at the barn on July 4th. Smich with the Eliminator at the hangar 20 days later. Also the Eliminator with a burn going inside. If that's where LB was incinerated, they moved her from the barn to the hangar 20 days later?

There is no artwork in tagging. You're thinking of graffiti.

Yes, who knows what they can talk about in deliberations if nobody rats them out!

Both photos were taken with DMs device? I didnt realize that. Hmm, a way of securing MS won't snitch? I.e. I have incrimenting pictures of you.

As if MS didn't incriminate himself by keeping the bag and iPad.

This was not Laura's Ipad and she had only been in possession of it for about a week. She likely didn't use it for much of anything other than to access the internet when she was somewhere with free wi-fi.

MOO
