Is that LB’s dog on Pg.47? (picture of the Eliminator w/Millard’s dog)

That one has been debated ad nauseum on here from the TB trial. That is NOT LB's dog in the video.

I was going to ask if that video had been seen. The mother has a lot of rage. I am sure she is embarrassed to be known probably all over Canada of having such a monster for a son. She lashes out for being photographed what about what the family of victims, they have to be photographed. Many wonder how she could let an adult son live at home have no job, or be in school and hang around all day. All his young life he just sold drugs, made violent videos and now found out like to be involved in murdering people. It is mind-boggling how she appears clueless to anything he was doing and that is enough to wonder about her parenting . It was said that MS might have been supporting her with the drug money, who knows anything is possible. They were not from Oakville but moved there when MS was a teenager. The neighborhood he lived in is very affluent and a lot of young children. I wonder what the neighbors think right now I am sure they are not happy about the family living there.

Lisa Hepfner's video report. It appears they caught up with MS's mother outside of court and she was not too pleased about it. Hit the cameraman with her purse.

Awwwwww, the poor thing. Since most in Ontario are preoccupied feeling badly for LB's mom right now,,,,
Perhaps MS mother and "Rabbit" can start a closed victims group, and have some whine together. Maybe brainstorm on how their own actions might have contributed to the narcissism in their offspring.

Of course her kept it, kept the laptop, kept everything but the phone?

I wonder if MM received any gifts of jewelry from MS courtesy of LB. In the video her friend took of her meowing, LB is wearing a necklace. Perhaps the necklace described below. She also had a ring she wore often.

Obviously MS is not the brightest criminal and I think DM knew that and possibly why DM did things like taking the photos of MS with the blue tarp and incinerator, gave MS SL's ipad and LB's luggage and it was probably DM's "brilliant" idea MS put his hood up when they were on TB's property. DM figured by him going there undisguised "IF" they got caught he could say he didn't hide his identity because he was honestly there to test drive TB's truck and MS had another motive DM was unaware of. Those are just a couple examples off the top of my head but in reality DM has proven he is not that swift at all because there is so much evidence implicating him as well to both murders. We have dumb and dumber for sure. Wait until the evidence comes out in WM's trial where I think we will find out who was the dumber of the two. ALL MOO.

She often wears a ring with a bow encrusted with small black and white diamonds and necklace with a charm of a hand (called a Humsa).

Speaking of that statement. Didn't they say LB's phone disappeared off the grid around Indian Grove? That area is some 20 minutes east of MS residence in Oakville. Meaning 20 mins before he drops of MS LB' phone is done...So how is it that they say DM's phone and LB's phone continued on after MS' stayed in Oakville.

I have not had a chance to follow the trial closely for the last few days, however I remember hearing something about LB taking the subway to Kipling station from downtown. The subway pops above ground at Keele station which is right by Indian Grove, then it goes back underground until Old Mill. The phone might have connected with the cell phone tower when it popped above ground at Keele and then been shut off when it went back in the tunnel.

Why is the Judge asking so many questions? That's for the Crown to do. Wake up Crown!

Sorry if this has already been answered, I am only halfway through today's thread when I am responding to this.

The morning I spent in court earlier this week, the Justice Code seemed to be taking many notes (not sure if this is normal for a judge) and if he missed what someone said or didn't understand it himself, he would ask them to clarify. For context, he looked to be in his mid to later 60s. So some conversations or terms used in court about cell phones or iPads or the internet might go right over his head. Him asking questions seemed to be him clarifying something that he himself just didn't understand fully.

This is part of not getting the full conversation tweeted out like in the TB trial that can be deceiving. The context for a lot of the times the Judge is asking questions is missing, making the Crown look like they aren't doing their job well when in fact, IMO, they are.

I get uncomfortable with blaming everyone who's ever associated with these two as guilty in some way. There's a huge difference between letting a guy live at home when he's in his twenties and then having any blame for the kid turning out to be a murderer. I doubt she's proud of the guy or thinks he's innocent but she is his mother and I doubt this is easy for her either.

Same with the friends of these guys - sure they weren't the best people in the world but I don't think anyone here would think even their dumb friends who are always getting into trouble are going to go out and start murdering people.

Just doesn't feel right or fair to be blaming everyone who's ever associated with these guys because of their actions.

You have given us a lot of observations and insights that we would not have otherwise had.
Thanks.

Maybe Julia (LB's friend).....

If I were guessing, I think Julia will be one of, if not, the last witnesses before the Crown rests their case. She may have very damning information or something that ties together everything really well and then will leave a final impression of the Crown's case on the jury?

Interesting but wrong Indian Grove. It was Indian Grove & QEW or Mississauga.

I think it's probably got somethig to do with the right of the accused to a fair trial; if the trial is rushed to free up space for the next, maybe you can request an appeal? Just MO

Some "conditions" are something wrong in a person's brain. Many of my adult friends will tell you how disappointed they have become when their adult children took their own life paths and turned out to be people the parents never imagined they would be. Adult kids make their own decisions.

And all involved in this case seem like kids. So young and naive. IMO

No problem. Just wanted to save everyone the trouble of going over that pic for days and debating about the little white dog that could be LB's. Not sure we ever did find out who it belonged to though. Any TB trial posters remember?

Oh and welcome btw :welcome:

Looks to me like she attacked the cameraman in a rage. Hope he doesn't press charges. Even CN and her mommy knew enough that if they didn't want their face in MSM, how to go about solving that problem. DM's mom also figured out how to avoid MSM. I wonder if MS ever witnesses that sort of rage for being a bad boy numerous times in his short life living at home. Maybe there should have been a big more rage and he wouldn't have turned out to be a petty criminal and a two time murderer. ALL MOO.

I recall this tidbit of information written during the trial for TB which I found somewhat interesting. After DM's arrest, was there no suspicion raise about sonny boy? Especially since he seemed to have taken up new residence and was laying low? Again, ALL MOO and thoughts.

Court heard that Smich’s mother, Mary, told police that when Smich heard that Millard had been arrested in the Bosma case, he complained that now he wouldn’t get the Cadillac.

The Crown seems to be going in date order of where they deduce LB was, who she spoke to and who she was with from the information on her last phone bill. They seem to have moved past the time frame when she would have last seen or spoken to Julia as it appears they had a falling out. Perhaps Julia just didn't fit in the time frame so she wasn't called?

MOO
