BELLEVUE — The Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 67-year-old man.

According to a social media post from the sheriff’s office, David England was last seen leaving his home in Bellevue last Wednesday, Oct. 8.

England was reported to have walked away from his home on foot with no belongings and was not seen with any vehicle, the post states.

England is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes.

An FYI as you look: There are a LOT of arrests, some in msm for another person with his first and last name in that county, but that person is 30+ years younger so NOT the same person. I don't think we have a middle name to drill down in records.

Is anyone from there ? I saw some comments online hinting at sinkholes in that area, in a corn field if I am not mistaken.

I lived in Avon Lake Ohio from 1998 until 2007. I remember there being some talk after I moved about sinkholes that developed due to a former mining concern back in 2011 (Sinkholes near Ohio mine sites prompt monitoring) but when I lived there, there weren't any sinnkholes of any size noted. The only comments I've seen on FB for the Sandusky area news were for a couple that were big enough "ro turn an ankle in". So nothing that would be of a concern I would think. Ohio can get them, as could most any state, but are not prone to the ones like you see in Florida, in part due to the large glacial deposits over the limestone. They are usually smaller and storm and sewer related. Sinkhole shocker unlikely in Ohio

Here is a google photo of his home and surrounding land. There is open land behind him but it's not sparsely populated and it's open. It's been stated they've searched that whole area already. 2045 Co Rd 302 · 2045 Co Rd 302, Bellevue, OH 44811

Almost two months missing:

Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton said that there have been no new developments in England’s case and that the sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate and is in touch with his family.

Thinking there's a good chance this could be him:

A citizen called into the sheriff's office shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday to report a possible body, which responding deputies and the Sandusky County Coroner's Office then located on a property southwest of Bellevue.

His sister is confirming it's him. Waiting on MSM to verify. IMO

Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton said that the body was found next to a set of railroad tracks right off County Road 296, a little more than 100 yards away from the Bellevue Hospital.

It seems more and more likely that it is him. I did a map search from his last known residence to the hospital where he was found yards away. It's a five minute walk:

If it is him, given the proximity to the hospital the body was located, I'm leaning towards a medical emergency.
