Drew Peterson’s attorneys have asked the Illinois State Supreme Court to order the former police officer released from jail where he has been held for more than two years on charges of murdering his third wife, saying prosecutors’ appeal to the same court over hearsay evidence has violated his right to a speedy trial.

DP's lawyers will imo forever blow smoke into the judicial system pleading for DP's freedom. I hope it never works. IMO DP is a serial killer, a dangerous man who will repeatedly kill if he's free. moo of course.
