The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating an injured woman.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at approximately 1:19 a.m. police responded to a sound of gunshots radio call in the Wellesley Street East and Jarvis Street area.

It is reported that:

- multiple calls were made indicating there had been the sound of gunshots in the Wellesley Street East and Jarvis Street area

- a man was located in the area and had sustained a gunshot wound

- information was provided to indicate a woman was also the victim of a gunshot wound

- police have been unable to locate the woman and are concerned for her safety and well-being

She is described as white, 20-22 years old, 5’6”, shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a dark coloured short-sleeve shirt and black pants.''

Police seek woman they fear was shot downtown
''They also learned that a woman who was in the area earlier had also been shot.

"Police have been unable to locate the woman and are concerned for her safety and well-being," investigators said Thursday.

She is described as white, between 20 and 22 years-old, standing five-feet-six inches tall.

She has shoulder-length brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark-coloured short-sleeve shirt and black pants.
