Nursie...if you weren't holding that needle, I swear....

A warrant for what though?

I'm sure you see the problem.

IMO

I guess I have the impression that a warrant allows for a free for all search of the premises. So, I'm guessing I need to know more about what a warrant actually allows.
Seems to me, if you knew what you were looking for then why would you have to go in and look for it?

To be able to search the house completely for evidence like they are doing now....as I said in my other post, I do not know the law and how it works :) Just want baby Lisa found...
Right, but evidence of what? What areas would have been included within the scope of the warrant? LE can't simply go to a judge and say, 'We want a warrant to tear that house apart.' and get it.

I understand. I want her found too, alive and well.

:)

Okay, I lost the link for the live coverage of the front. I know I posted it for others numerous times so it seems like I would have it, huh? But can someone post it? TIA! (not KMBC, the other one)

Well you need probable cause to get a warrant and it just might be that they didnt have any until all the interview the parents did with the media and whatever came out at the GJ yesterday.

Hey...I thought you were going to take a shower! I'm next...the love of my life will be home in 2 hours and I need to look like I've accomplished something today. :) Ugh! At least I put a roast in the crock pot already...whew!

Sherlock is back. I think he had a boogie, but it looked like he got it... :great:

If they are laying the carpet outside, they are probably planning to re-lay it when they are finished going through the floor boards, drywall, etc.

I don't agree with you that whatever they have seized is inadmissable or that it was contaminated. The media didn't have access to the inside of walls, floors, attic.

I keep going back to the comment made that the kids heard a clicking and now possibly x-ray happenings. Did someone take up floor boards or wall boards and use a finish hammer and nail set to reinstall to try and cover up evidence?

I am not an expert in Law, but I want to say, Probable cause is what they have.

Maybe not inadmissable, but there is a distinct opportunity for a defense team to use post-disappearance access to the residence as a tool for creating reasonable doubt.

For the same reason I know I'm looking for my cell phone, but have to tear apart the living room to find it: remove couch cushions, dump magazine basket, open the blanket folded and shake it out, toss the toy box, etc.

Just because I know what I'm looking for, it doesn't mean I know where it's at.

at one point today an LEO got in the car and backed it up out of camera shot of the front of the house and all you saw was the tree.. maybe another car

than on the liveblog they posted a picture (still) taken that showed further back out of the live feed where the bomb truck and multiple trucks were parked... I think this could be where any cars bringing in the dogs were parked as well..

there is one msm link that said that was why they initiated the no fly zone (dog techniques being used)....

also further noted, I posted a link about the kcpd bomb and arson squad.. they have two accelerant sniffing dogs.. so not sure if that is part of the "equipment" that was used today ((think dumpster fire and DB saying she was shown burned clothing in her interviews))

just thinking outside the box there ^^

Thank you, this makes sense to me....

I wish we knew what they were doing with these mystery black boxes.

ETA: And why don't they park that CSI van in the driveway so they don't have to walk so far. LOL

Part of the crime scene I suspect.
